Initial consultation, final pre-wedding day meet, start and finish time on the day decided by the couple and all images delivered digitally via a secure website
How far in advance should I contact you?
We have limited availability so getting in touch with your wedding date as soon as possible is highly recommended
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, all over mainland UK
What is the charge for travelling?
No charge if within 50 miles or 60 minutes (via Google Maps) of our business address, whichever is closest.

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
We like to ensure everyone is relaxed so we make sure to have a 'normal' conversation with those in the wedding party. We don't follow any set rules, just to be friendly, polite and professional
What kind of equipment do you use?
All of our work is shot using Canon equipment along with separate flash units which free stand on tripods or are operated by a lighting assistant

How do you charge extra time?
This is difficult as we don't have a fixed 'day' when working as a Wedding Photographer.... We start when asked (e.g. Bridal prep) and finish usually 1 hour after the First Dance

I'm a people person and love to create a calm and relaxed environment. There's enough things to think about on your wedding day, your Photographer shouldn't be one of them!

Incredible photography!
Jemma was our photographer for the day of our wedding and was incredible. She was easy going and took the most beautiful photos. Prior to the wedding we had two meetings where we could discuss ideas and let her know of our essential photographs. When she was taking candid photographs she was subtle and just allowed people to enjoy themselves! We are in love with the photos and so glad we hired Jemma!

Breathtaking...
After seeing the photo album of my brother marrying his wife, I knew that Doxey Creative (Jemma) had to be our photographer.
From the get-go, Jemma has been so attentive, responsive and genuine with us, catering to our wants and needs and ensuring that our photos captured our day in the best way possible. In the lead up to our magical day, Jemma made sure to always be available when we needed her - even at 7pm in the evening for a video call during a pandemic! We connected instantly and we were very excited to have such a professional but personable photographer with us on the big day.
Fast forward to the big day... 90% of the time, we could not tell that Jemma was there for her job - we proudly felt like she was a guest at our wedding & we really enjoyed her company. Even throughout those nervous wedding moments, it really helped to see a kind smile and hear encouraging words - which definitely isn't something you are guaranteed! I think this really shows in our photos; Jemma was never 'in the way', we never felt as if a camera was being shoved in our faces, we didn't feel as if the moments captured were ever staged, and we were definitely never tired or bored of smiling - it was all very natural and special. It is so important to find a photographer who understands you as a couple and fits in effortlessly as part of your special day. When we received our photos a few weeks later, it really felt like the day had happened all over again...I think it is says a lot about the photographer when the guests appreciate their work - we have had countless(!) comments about our photos and how 'you couldn't even tell the photographers were there'.
Not only have we found a fantastic photographer, who we will definitely use again, we have found a dear friend. Thank you Doxey Creative!
