About Shooting Pixels

A wedding is filled with fun, happiness, love and laughter and, surrounded by family and friends, the couple will create and share some special moments as the day unfolds. My photography aims to capture that story and help you relive those moments and share them once more with those you love the most.
I'm based in Somerset and I'm proud to be a preferred supplier for Maunsel House and Woodlands Castle but I have photographed weddings across the UK from Scotland to Cornwall and I'm always keen to discover new venues and places and bring my own style to them. I shoot mostly documentary, looking for and capturing moments as they happen, along with a few contemporary style shots that reflect the couple's personalities so they might be romantic, a bit quirky or just plain crazy.
If you'd like to find out a bit more about how I might help with your wedding photography get in touch in we'll have a chat about your plans.

  • "What a gem"
    Melody on 22 August 2017

We booked Andy for our Christmas wedding and we were not disappointed. The photos were amazing and all our guests couldn't believe how good the photos were. He was brilliant on our wedding day too, constantly helping us and making sure everything was running smoothly. He went above and beyond for us and I was truly grateful. He has a talent for putting people at ease which was so comfortaing for a nervous bride. Do not go anywhere else, book with Andy, you will not be disappointed!!! ?

  • "Wonderful easygoing professional photographer!"
    Charlotte on 22 August 2017

Andy was brilliant from start to end. We met him at a wedding fair when he talked me through the different style of photography; his easygoing yet professional style was exactly what we wanted. He went above and beyond the call of duty climbing out of (and back into) a dodgy old window to get us a stunning 'group in the grounds' shot! I hate having my photo taken but I felt really at ease with Andy's non-intrusive approach, gentle coaxing and great sense of humour. He captured so much of our day so well; from the classic family and bridal party shots, to some sneaky shots of guests having a ball to awesome moody shot of our first dance under the disco lights! I cannot recommend Andy highly enough: choose him!
