A blend of documentary for the day (As the day unfolds) however in a very readable style, so you are able to walk through your wedding day after and see how the day went, peoples reactions, the details, smiles, laughter, tears. All captured in a quality well composed manner. I like to inject casual expressions and emotion when it comes to the couples images and include as much as the scenery as possible in the background, giving way to some real scenic shots and really using architecture and scenery if available.
Canon & Sigma
Yes i always like to see the purpose of in image in relation to the day. E.g. can the couple look at the wedding afterwards and see everything that was going on, can you see what happens next, e.g. someone coming into the room, people applauding hugging etc, what is happening in the image? is it more than just people stood around, are people having a laugh and a joke? what is the context of the image? I like to support people during the couples shots that aren't very confident, i meet many people who are worried about this, especially in regards to looking and feeling awkward. Many people like my approach in regards to this which is mainly due to meeting people before hand so they feel comfortable and also about giving light and natural direction, direction where it is due and not like the 1980's where someone would lean against a tree and look wooden. Good direction will not look wooden.

I take out the blinkies, the bloopers, the ones when someone got in way. I give back everything that is of a merchantable standards. Most photographers shoot 1 in 3 frames, e.g. you will take your best of the 1 in 3rd shot, on focus, composition, expression etc.
I work by myself. If timings overlap i can gain assistance from a second photographer if required
