We have had James DJ for us twice in the last year, my son‘s wedding and also our 30th wedding anniversary. We are a social couple and go to many different events during the year and I can say without contradiction that James is the best DJ we have seen. He manages to keep a party going for hours on end changing the music and capturing the mood of the room. We would highly recommend him for parties, weddings and corporate events as long as you have the energy to keep up with him on the dance floor!

James DJ’ed at our wedding and did a brilliant job for several reasons.

I am a DJ myself so I am very careful about who I trust when it comes to music. I also had a little anxiety when I realised that our venue uses a sound limiter. When I got in contact with James he gave me full confidence he would extract the maximum from the venue (and sound limiter) and he stayed in contact with me before the day when we started to arrange finer timings and requests.

Because James understands his equipment and clearly cared about making sure our guests would have a fantastic party he went to the effort to trial and error the best position for speakers in our converted barn venue before the music started.

Over the course of the evening I couldn’t have felt more at ease that our party was in safe hands. James absolutely smashed it by taking some songs that I had collected together beforehand and then moulded this to the vibe of our guests on the day.

During the evening I kept receiving compliments on James’ behalf about the music selection and it was a non-stop party from first dance to last song. *Everyone* danced and I knew I had made the right decision in booking James.

My dad also sings at our family parties and James got him involved much to our guests delight!

Since our wedding, several of our guests have directly asked me how they could book James - which says it all really.

The music is a key part of the Wedding day and James is a reliable and flexible choice for that. I will not hesitate to contact James again. Thank you for making our day fantastic.

Communication was easy and we felt really listened to. We kicked things off with a great Teams call to share our vision, and he was super quick to respond to emails. We sent him a long list of songs, and he played every single one! It made the night feel so personal.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding DJ, James. We got married at Caswell House in July 2025, and from the moment the music started, he kept the energy up and the dance floor full with tune after tune — he just totally got us. We’d only sent over a small playlist as a starting point, but James completely understood our style and nailed the vibe we were going for. The DJ set-up looked amazing, lots of people commented on not only how great the music was but how good the booth and lighting looked too.

He was also an absolute pleasure to work with in the lead-up to the day — upbeat, friendly, professional, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. James DJ'ed our wedding in the Cotswolds in June on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year so far! Regardless of the heat, James was professional, focused on providing a great experience for our guests and got the party going once the sun went down. Additionally, in advance of the night he was responsive, contactable and helpful. Highly recommend!

James came right on time and set up without any fuss and didn’t disturb the guests at all. It was such a great selection of music from start to finish, listening to exactly what we asked for prior to the day, and then being adaptable on the night too taking requests. He got everyone (all ages from 6-80!) up on the dance floor and kept us there all night. A great mix of crowd pleasures, old classics and new music. Honestly great all round and really recommend to anyone hosting a wedding / party / function. Thanks again James!
