About Romance of the Cello

Perhaps one of the most romantic instruments -- perfect for a wedding -- is the cello. Said to be the closest thing to the human voice, the cello elicits the ideal emotion and style perfect for a day all about love. From renowned cellist with years of experience under her strings, The Romance of the Cello's Rebecca brings purity of sound and quality performance.

Experience

Having studied with renowned cellist John Chillingworth of the English National Opera and played numerous professional theatre productions, Rebecca has the gift and professionalism to make the night unforgettable and a complete success.

Services offered

Aware of the importance of quality of service, Rebecca is flexible and puts a genuine focus on the personalization of your consultation and the set list for the big day. She loves helping you put detailed attention on each aspect of the musical arrangements, from the ceremony music to the reception. She prides herself on a wide variety of music in her repertoire and particularly enjoys working on arrangements of contemporary music. Recent new music of hers has included James Morrison, James Vincent McMorror, and even David Guetta!

The rich sound of a poetic cello, however, certainly shines as a perfect backdrop to the more intimate moments of the wedding. Rebecca adores the purity of Bach for a ceremonial walk down the aisle, or the beauty of modern film composers such as Han Zimmer to create an ideal atmosphere over pre-reception cocktails. Consult with Rebecca about the classics from Beethoven to Vivaldi to create your perfect dream feel.
