We absolutely loved working with Shaun to create our perfect evening of music for our wedding. Shaun is very flexible with how he works and is happy to take as much direction from you as needed, we provided a few songs choices we really wanted to hear (and a few songs we definitely didn't!) and we let Shaun do his thing!
Shaun was always very responsive on email, and great to chat to in person about your musical choices and likes and dislikes. He has such a friendly and calm demeanour, which instantly puts you at ease during the stress of wedding planning!
As someone who is very passionate about their music, it was such a comfort knowing I was leaving the music for the evening in such capable hands - we had the perfect mix of music to keep guests of all ages happy. I would 100% recommend working with Shaun! -

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shaun to anyone looking for someone to take care of all of thier wedding music
Shaun looked after all the music for our wedding at the Granary on the Common in East Yorkshire earlier this month. We had left it quite late to look for a DJ, and were worried about sorting the music as the venue was completely DIY and had outdoor space, two barns and an upstairs are for the ceremony. We found Shaun on Hitched and thought it his full day package would suit us perfectly. We really have an eclectic taste in music and it was really important to us and having seamless music throughout the day that we didn't have to worry about. Shaun made it easy and we even got to send him playlists of all our favourite songs and the music for certain parts of the day, such as walking down the aisle and signing the register. He was adaptive to playing inside or outside, but because of the weather we had to have most of it inside. We had a few video chats with Shaun before the wedding to get everything organised which was super helpful.
Shaun's DJ set up was super smart with the neon sign and not at all cheesy (the last thing we wanted was a DJ Dave). His sax playing stills were also incredible.
The icing on the cake was the amazing album of photos he sent to us after the wedding - which were superb!
We also hired the retro photobooth and Shaun's dad manned it for the night and gave us a lovely guestbook of pictures at the end.
Our cousin has already booked him for her 2025 wedding down in Norfolk.
Overall we would highly recommend SBDJ services. -

After speaking to Shaun for 5 minutes before booking I knew he was gonna be fab but I wasn't quite prepared for what he delivered. He managed to keep the groom on the dance floor for 6 hours, happily took on any requests from our guests and played so many bangers that I ended up in minor injuries from dancing too vigorously in my heels.
The sax was just another added bonus which everybody loved.
A pleasure to work with, all around great guy, top DJ and musician.
10/10 would recommend to absolutely everyone. -

WOW! We were blown away!
Wow, wow, wow! What an amazing company. We booked Shaun to play saxophone at our wedding toast drinks and Ibiza sax at our evening reception. He was incredible and really got the good high energy vibes going. Shaun was also the dj for our music in the evening and we paid for the use of the photo booth too. We got unlimited pictures and they printed 2 copies of each photo, one for the guests to keep and one for our guest book. I couldn’t recommend him and his company enough.
He was easily contactable leading up to the big day and kept us informed throughout. He created our first dance mix tape and played some personal extra touches that we wanted. Nothing was too much to ask. 2 weeks later, we and our guests are still buzzing off the entertainment provided. We will be recommending you to everyone! Once again, thanks so much! -
