We had Terry as our DJ and MC for our wedding on 12th October 2023 and he was simply amazing. We had Terry from the start of the day so he organised my ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast music and introduced all of the speeches. He really helped in making the day run smoothly, I saw videos of him passing out all of the confetti and making sure people were standing where they should be so we could get some great pictures. My Nan also wanted me to mention in my review how Terry ran and got her a chair so she could sit down during our drinks reception (which was outside, she struggles to stand for long periods of time), it honestly made her day and meant she could be involved without having to go back inside by herself. She still talks about how great Terry was every time I see her! In terms of introducing the speeches, Terry done so with such enthusiasm and made it a really upbeat, fun atmosphere, everyone was cheering! I didn't worry at all when it came to the evening reception, I knew Terry had listened to exactly what we wanted and I don't think the dance floor was empty once. We said we wanted a fun, party atmosphere and Terry created exactly that. If anyone is questioning whether to book Terry, DO IT!! Not only is he one of the friendliest people you will ever meet, he takes so much of the stress of a wedding day away and does so with a massive smile on his face. Please tell you nan she just broke me. What an incredible woman, you are very lucky to have such a role model in your life. Please tell her it was a genuine pleasure ensuring she was involved as much as possible on your special day. Nothing was too much for her, she more than deserved star treatment, and I would do everything for her again in a heartbeat.
As for you Kathryn, I wish you nothing but love and happiness for the rest of your married life.

I’ll start by saying a huge thankyou to Terry. You made our day even more perfect than we could imagine. As the groom, I was very nervous before the ceremony, but you came over to me outside and just had a normal conversation with me which honestly helped me so much.
Straight away I knew the wedding would be a success with choosing you. We had 2 zoom calls with you, after the first 5 minutes we both knew you were who we wanted to help us with our special day.
Getting people in party mode. That is something I thought you might struggle with because of who our guests were, but boy was I wrong! When we was walking into the Mill Barn, every single person was on their feet cheering, waving around the napkins, it was amazing to see! Saying that, you were getting people ready for everything before the ceremony had even started! So again, thankyou!
After ceremony had taken place, me and my wife had given the 2 groomsmen the job of handing out confetti. Much to my shock, I saw them both as the bottom of the line not with the confetti buckets… but there you was handing it all out to our guests, no job was too big for you, you seemed to always go that extra mile when we didn’t expect you to.
We weren’t very helpful with the music side of things and basically said “Terry do your magic” and believe me when I say, he did just that. The variety of music was amazing, the dance floor was always full, my wife asked Terry to try and incorporate some D&B into the set… now that wasn’t your specialty but you did it and again it was amazing!
I’m not one who’s great with words, but I seriously couldn’t fault anything that Terry done for us on our wedding day. He made it the most special day of our lives. 10/10 for everything!

It was a pleasure to have DJ Terry as both the master of ceremonies and our DJ for the evening on our big day.
When we had our first consultation with him, it was an extremely professional experience and you could tell that Terry is extremely passionate about what he does. This enthusiasm is infectious and it was the first supplier meeting we had where we felt genuine excitement for the day. He offered new ideas and really fun ways to ensure the guests interact and really enjoying themselves, such as Mr and Mrs, notes for the newlyweds and the brilliant DJ battle between the bride and groom.
He also deserves a special mention for how caring and helpful he was towards my nan on the day. She struggles with her mobility, but Terry was always on hand to check whether she was ok and help her to different parts of the venue. He has a gift in making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, so everything went very smoothly thanks to Terry.
Into the evening, the dance-floor was very lively and he played an excellent mix of music that showed he really listened to our likes/dislikes in the planning meetings beforehand. I would advise anyone looking for a great DJ and MC to book Terry for their wedding day - he makes things very easy and delivers an element of quality that you won’t find anywhere else.

Perfect choice
From our first contact we knew Terry was the perfect choice. He put us at ease straight away and taking control for us was just what we needed. Terry checked in with us regularly before and communication was easy. Our playlist we left down to him and was fantastic I didn’t want the night to end (need to get a copy of the song list). Terry was also our MC and we had so many guest say how great he was. The games were great and made the wedding breakfast. I knew our day would run perfectly and it did with Terry. He greeted me before I walked down the aisle which I was so grateful for and put me at ease. A truly great MC, DJ and person. Would highly recommend. -

Terry honestly goes above and beyond, helping hype people up, getting people organised for photos and collected the confetti bags so they don’t appear in pictures. He gives you advice and tips for the whole day not just for the music and is such a lovely person.
To top it off he is a fantastic DJ, listening to what everyone wants and taking suggestions. So many of our guests came up to us to say what an amazing DJ/ MC and he helped to make our day run so smoothly. Would highly recommend him! -

My wife and I were so happy with the way Terry was able to lead our guests for our wedding ceremony, reception, and photos, as well as his ability to keep the party mood high throughout the day.
We received many compliments about his DJing and MCing, particularly with how approachable and considerate he was with our more elderly guests.
Terry genuinely wants his clients to have the perfect day and night, and from start to finish, he offered us excellent advice and detailed insight from his wealth of experience, to ensure that we weren't only satisfied, but in fact truly delighted, with his services.

Amazing wedding day and thanks to Terry
We had Terry as a DJ and master of ceremonies for our wedding on the 28th of May 2024 and he was absolutely amazing.
All the guests were saying how brilliant he was throughout the day and night talking to all the guests making them all feel welcome to the venue and keeping us all on the dancefloor all night long. We done the games with Terry for our wedding breakfast and everyone said how much of a great touch it was and that it broke up the meal lovely, we really couldn’t recommend Terry enough! -

Terry was the very first person we booked after our Venue. After our very first meeting with him it was a no brainer, and he did not disappoint on the day. His MC Duties were second to none, he can certainly get a crowd going. The Music in the evening was amazing and the dance floor always had people on it, and he was just amazing all day. It was even the little touches throughout the day, such as escorting the Mother of the Bride to her seat before our ceremony began, the announcements before the ceremony, he was just always on hand to help out and make things run so smoothly. Where we couldn't think of an exact playlist for parts of the day, we just let Terry know what kind of style we would like and he made it happen. He was also great with the two young children at our ceremony (Neice and Nephew) and couldn't do enough to make every single guests day special. 1000000/10 for Terry, I would recommend him to anybody getting married.DJ Terry J Lewis | 9x Award Winner's reply:
