The acclaimed musician at PianoTalk, Alan, has eight years of experience in providing unparalleled music for weddings and is considered by Bride Magazine as the recommended wedding pianist for the Midlands. The resident pianist at Hoar Cross Hall, and Branston Golf and Country Club as well as the recommended wedding pianist for Dovecliff Hall Hotel, Alan has played at over 200 weddings at the most prestigious venues in Staffordshire, Derbyshire and across the UK. His exceptional talent is not restricted to playing the piano. Alan also brilliantly writes contemporary piano music for Synctracks, a top London Music Publishing Library, and has composed music for two national TV advert syncs and BBC series syncs.

Alan can amaze your friends and family with his sublime music throughout your wedding, right from the ceremony, through the drinks reception and during the wedding breakfast. If you would like him to perform at only a particular part of your wedding day, he would be happy to oblige to your request.

PianoTalk will offer you an extensive song list from which you can choose your favourites, and also welcome requests so that they can make the day special for you. They would love to meet you before the big day to discuss song choices as well as the set-up of the day to ensure that everything is flawless.

What is included in the wedding package?

Extensive set list and songs upon request, keyboard if needed and p.a system and music for as long as required. Quality background music for your special day and also Bride Magazines recommended wedding pianist for the Midlands. Alan is a very likeable and friendly musician. Pre wedding meeting is also available to discuss song choices and the setup of the day. The three choices are: Civil Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast and couples can have Alan play at one, two or all three of these. PianoTalk folders include: Demo CD, Brochure, set list, business cards, and confirmation of booking form

How far in advance should I contact you?

As far as possible, but I do take late bookings with no extra cost

Yes, depending on distance, local weddings aren't effected by this. Anything over 20 miles the will be a small fee but no more then the cost of the petrol

Anything up to five hours

Probably a week but weddings booked further in advance are more beneficial to me

How do you charge extra time?

Normally if a certain part of the day for example the wedding breakfast goes on for longer than expected there isn't an additional fee. Couples pay a set price for each part of the day: ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast

What are the forms of payment?

Deposit to be paid before the day, and cheque or cash on the day itself
