Being an active force in the music business for over 25 years, Mandate is a top quality wedding music and entertainment company based in Montrose and serving all over the UK. From Edinburgh to Perthshire to Fife, Mandate has that classic, energetic style brides, grooms, and guests love. Having played a wide variety of weddings, band members Ken and Ian Jensen have the experience, passion, and professionalism able to make your event shine.

Services offered

Lead guitarist Ken arranges all backing music and sings backing vocals while Ian, lead vocalist, also plays the harmonica to add spice to some of the most lively numbers. The brothers pride themselves on their vast repertoire, with a wide variety of music from the '50s to the present day. They cover all kinds of bands from The Beatles to The Rolling Stones to The Drifters and more.

In addition to some of these great bands, they can play a multitude of styles, like Motown, swing, pop, ballad, and even Scottish country dance music. Mandate primarily function as a two-piece band but are available as a three piece with the help of guest vocalist, Linn Charles, a talented female vocalist with over 20 years of experience.
