About Mark Etherington - solo guitarist

Hugely experienced professional wedding and function guitarist, with a long CV providing live music for a host of corporate, public, civic and private celebrations - including, of course, many weddings from ceremony to reception - anniversary dinners, exhibition openings, product launches and promotions, theatre performances... the list goes on and on.

My repertoire ranges from the great jazz standards to more contemporary tunes from the 60s to the 00s. And if I don't already know it - given enough notice - I'll learn it for you.

Recent clients include the Royal Geographical Society, Kensington - Cinammon Kitchen, Spitalfields, London - Royal Holloway College, Egham - Stationer's Hall, London - The Charterhouse, London - the Swan at Laverham - Cantley Manor Hall, Hampshire - Nottcutts Garden Centre, Cranleigh - Amor Amora Cafe, Guildford - Pitchers Restaurant, Maidenhead - Star Inn and Restaurant, Steyning - Buxted Park Hotel, East Sussex - Random Hall, West Sussex - Hawkins English Wine Company, Surrey - Queens Theatre Hornchurch - and many more.

I can perform inside or outside, with or without mains power. I am fully insured and my equipment is fully PAT tested. Presentation will also be to your exact requirements - black tie, smart casual... and if the bride has a colour scheme in mind I'll match that too. As for my previous experience - over many years I have successfully completed commissions at highly prestigious venues for some very exacting clients and never received less than glowing feedback. I have a reputation for being professional, flexible, friendly and personable, able to put clients and guests alike at ease, and will do all I can to make your event the greatest possible success.
