Hit The Dance Floor are a Manchester based live wedding, party and corporate band that have over 15 years of experience between them and over 2000 gigs worth of experience collectively. There's one aim in mind for the band, to make your event the most talked about and anticipated wedding or party of the year, to keep the dance floor full and create a day /night that everybody will never forget!

What services do you offer?

We offer our full 3 piece live band performing 2 x 1 hour live sets, we offer a free DJ service with this, stage lighting. We pretty much take care of all of the musical responsibilities for you. We can even go as far as designing a custom set list for you, catered to exactly what you would like us to perform.

What is included in the wedding package?

We offer (as standard) with our wedding package, 2 x live 1 hour sets performed by the band, Free DJ service. We will arrive at 6PM as standard but can arrive earlier if required, be completely setup and sound checked before the evening reception at 7PM. We will then start some background DJ music for you, perform our sets at the times agreed (normally 9PM until 10PM and then at 10.30PM until 11.30PM), DJ in-between then and DJ after them up until midnight. We can also go beyond midnight if required for a small extra fee. We will also perform your first dance song of any choice live, if you should like us to. On top of that, we will make all of the announcements. We also take requests with the DJing and will ensure a full dance floor all night and a great night had by all.

How far in advance should I contact you?

Our diary does get filled very quick therefore we would highly recommend you to contact us as soon as you possibly can to ensure that date that you would like to book us for.

What style of music do you offer?

We perform new pop, modern pop, modern rock, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and naughties. We have a huge song repertoire that spans that far, we can also perform anything upon request.

Is it possible to request something that is not in the repertoire?

Yes this is not a problem at all. We can even go as far as designing a custom set list for you.

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes, we have our own self contained state of the art PA system, as well as drums, lights, guitars, basses, amps. Everything is included.

Are you able to travel?

We will travel anywhere. No event is too far!

Is there a charge for travelling?

There is a charge for travelling although this is just fuel allowance to cover our fuel, this is included within any price that we give you. There is no extra charge for the amount of time it may take us to get to an event unless it is outside of the UK.

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

unfortunately we do no do this. We are strict with regards to not double booking and this is important for us. Whist we wish we could be at more than one wedding per day, there is only one of our lineup and we can only be in one place at one given time therefore once a date has been booked we cannot booking another event on that date.

What is the length of time of the act?

6PM arrival, midnight finish, 2 x 1 hour live sets and first dance minimum. We will be at your event or wedding for 6 hour and perform live for 2 hours minimum as well as all the DJing in between as standard unless stated that you need us for less or more time.

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

It takes us 45 minutes maximum to load in, setup and sound check.

Do you charge per hour or per event?

We charge per event.

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours

Yes, we can perform / DJ until whatever time you would like though this does not come with our standard package. Anything after midnight we add a small extra fee on, as well as any early arrivals before 6PM and early acoustic sets. You will always be made aware how much this is before hand though and will never pay more than you are quoted.

What are the forms of payment?

Online BAC's transfer (fully invoiced) of £150.00 to secure a date and then the remaining amount can either be paid via online BAC's transfer (fully invoiced) 28 days before the date or on the night in cash (fully invoiced)
