Jo is a contemporary, gospel-inspired, solo acoustic guitar-playing singer based in Surrey, creating cosy live performances that move people. Her background in church worship taught her how to make every lyric mean something, and that depth still shapes the way she performs today. From the emotion of your walk down the aisle to the joy of your first dance, she brings warmth and connection to every song.

Experience

Jo is originally a classically trained pianist with Grade 8 under her belt. Her 'moulding' as a musician started in her family church, leading worship from the age of 16 and learning the guitar along the way. She then went on to do a contemporary performance degree in vocals.

As a solo musician she's performed for 9 wedding ceremonies so far, each one unique in it's own way. She's led worship for over 200 church services over the years. Jo's biggest strength is her ability to read a room and time songs perfectly with each key moment of the ceremony. She loves ballads and upbeat music in equal measure and loves showing different sides to her musicianship.
