They were incredible! They have a great sound perfect for any wedding, but definitely worked well with my slightly more rock vibe. They were so entertaining and their interaction with the guests (even those who were slightly drunk and constantly requesting wonderwall) was fantastic. They would be a great choice for any wedding!

What a great band ! They played at our wedding in August 2023, providing a beautiful acoustic set whilst we enjoyed post ceremony drinks and then maintained a full dance floor throughout their live & disco sets, to the absolute delight of all our guests. From the initial enquiry to the actual day everything went like clockwork. We were delighted with their music choices, having provided a detailed running list to choose from, as well as playing some of our special requests. We would highly recommend without hesitation!

The band was lovely! They were easy to book and very flexible during the pandemic. They had a joy filled attitude arrived on time, did some great music and got us all dancing and offered a DJ service as well. Best of both worlds and a great addition to our wedding day. We looked at other bands for our wedding, but when we got to Over The Threshold’s website, we knew we had found the only band we wanted. From our initial contact, the guys have been amazing! We had to change our date 3 times, the guys were accommodating with every date change, but we finally got there!! We didn’t give the guys much time to learn our first dance song or the father & daughter dance song, both they absolutely aced it. It brings me to tears every time I watch the videos of our first dance & the dance with my dad, as the guys sounded beyond amazing. Every song performed was fantastic, all our guests thought the guys were awesome. We can’t thank Over The Threshold enough for being part of our big day!

Over the threshold performed at our wedding at Sandy cove hotel, Devon on 16.8.21, they were absolutely amazing from start to finish!! Had so many of our guests commenting on how fab they were! They made everything so easy for us and would highly recommend booking this band! X

Over the Threshold were AMAZING at our wedding a few weeks ago! We loved every second of it, and all of our guests did too. They were extremely flexible with everything, making sure they would play when most people would be there to enjoy the music (i.e. before and after the football game). The music and lighting were excellent and they were really engaging. They also played some of our favourite songs either live or as part of the DJ sets and they made us feel really at ease during our first dance. We could not have asked for a better band to perform on our day! Thank you so much for making our wedding evening so special!

Over the Threshold were fantastic playing our wedding last week. We were limited to 36 guests due to covid venue restrictions but these guys made sure the dancefloor was still packed, playing 2 great sets.
They also played great DJ sets in between playing songs the guests had requested on the RSVP's, and one of the band did an acoustic selection as my new wife walked down the aisle. They could not have been better, and all the guests commented how will it went. Thank you guys

From start to finish it has been so easy to book, sort everything and then on the day they were amazing. All my guests have commented how brilliant they were and they made our wedding evening just brilliant!!!! Thank you guys. Highly recommend to anybody

These guys were simply brilliant.

Pre-show:
During the months prior, James was always prompt in responding to any questions or queries we had. He and was polite, inforative and knowledgable - the band's FAQs also answered a lot of questions we had ahead of time.

Our choices:
James and the band had no troubles accommodating our song choices which were well-rehearsed, slick and clearly had time and effort put in to them for us - this really did make us feel like the songs that were so special to us were equally valued by the band.

The Get-In:
The guys turned up and made themselves known, they ran a really slick get-in and setup which was not intrusive or disturbing to anything else happening around. We had a slight power issue ourselves but the guys made it their business to lend a hand and help out in any way they could (Safely and legally within their means, I should add - taking into account electrical safety / H&S etc.)

The show:
Simply brilliant. We chose the guys off of the back of their well-produced and slick website and marketing videos and boy did they deliver! There was no deviation in the quality between the marketing videos and the live performance which is always a huge plus.
We continue to receive comments on the quality, care and attention the band put into their performances (Both the acoustic set and full band sets) - it may have just been another gig for the guys, but you wouldn't have known it. They were on point, on the ball and sounded bloody brilliant all day and all night.

Overall:
They were brilliant. We had a few scheduling issues that we had to adapt to on the night, but the guys were always friendly, smiling and accommodating. They could've easily turned round and stuck to the pre-agreed schedule but they wanted to make the evening the best they could and put their heart into what they were doing.
Their professinalism and experience really shined through - working with us, making suggestions and rejigging their set lists on the fly to fit the time we had remaining, compress three sets to two, drop the 'DJ' set at the end (We had an 11pm curfew) and chose to play right up until the last song.
I stress, they really didn't have to do this, but they really wanted to deliver the best show they could - their personal touch was really appreciated and truly took the band from being more than just brilliant as performers. They demonstrated themselves to be exceptional experienced professionals who really put their heart into every single event.

I would gladly recommend them and you will not be disappointed.

We had a great day made all the better by these guys who were brilliant. Super easy going but professional at the same time. Lots of comments from friends and family about how much fun they had. We would highly recommend.
