I created Lottie’s Flower Studio, so that I could share the joy that flowers bring to me, with others.

My father used to work at a huge country estate garden, tending to the landscape, ponds and flowers.
I remember vividly the bright colours, the scents, and the sense of calm and brightness that it brought to my little life, as I adventured around it while he worked.

For the last 20 years I have worked in the veterinary industry. A career that is very rewarding, but one that can be, quite difficult mentally. After having a short career break to have my two wonderful children, and having to work through a very difficult time dealing with post natal depression, a spinal surgery and then a fibromyalgia diagnosis. I realised that I needed to reflect on what I could do that was as equally rewarding but was healing to my mental and physical health. And that, I realised, was flowers.

I decided to make the leap and create Lottie’s Flower Studio, dedicated to my inner child, who spent so much time enjoying those flowers, and so I could share her brightness with other people. I hope you feel that brightness in my designs and enjoy them as much as I do making them.
