We contacted Siobhan for our wedding party dance. She is an outstanding dance instructor. As a person who has never danced before, I was initially apprehensive, but her patient guidance and expert instruction quickly put me at ease. The lessons were tailored to our level, breaking down the steps with clarity and encouragement. We are both incredibly grateful for her expertise and warmth. It made our party preparations fan!

Siobhán came to our flat 4 times before our wedding and crafted the routine of our dreams! Neither of us can dance but we wanted a unique, funny and memorable dance routine which would wow our guests, and that's exactly what we got! Our guests cried with happiness and laughter as we danced, and Siobhán is just the most patient and fun teacher ever :) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend SuzieQ Dance lessons!

My partner and I knew that we wanted to do a first dance at our wedding, but I was now getting married in a wheelchair (following a SCI two years ago), and my now husband…well, he’s never been a confident dancer…even with two functioning legs!!! Bottom line - we were keen, but both extremely nervous! We knew that we wanted to do a dance to an upbeat song that we loved, so we chose You Make My Dreams Come True, and Siobhán created the rest!! Not only did she come up with beautiful choreography to suit us as a couple, as well as creating a great routine to incorporate the wheelchair, but she made us both feel so at ease from the very first lesson. My partner, who is never usually stuck for words, was silent with terror for about 20 minutes of the first lesson…but once Siobhán had chatted with us and got us going with some moves, he was absolutely loving it! Our dance lessons with Siobhán not only brought us both so much joy, but they helped us reconnect and have fun as a couple, during what could have been a few stressful weeks leading up to the big day!! Our family and friends were kept in the dark about our routine - and when they were surprised with it on our wedding day, everyone was beaming for us and loved it! It was by far mine and my husband’s highlight of our day, and a memory we will treasure forever.
Siobhán not only created a fun and fantastic first dance routine for us, but she gave us both the confidence to perform it, and the happiness and enjoyment that came with it. If you are wanting to do a first dance and you are a bit nervous about it, or simply just want help to create something spectacular and different, (as well as having a laugh during the process!!), we could not recommend SuzieQ Dance Events to you enough!! For a couple with two left feet, Siobhan worked wonders. She designed a routine that was fluid and changed with us. Our guests were wowed, and our first dance gave the whole wedding something special. We’ve never danced together as a couple before and this has now become something we do, that’s special to us. We found Siobhan through hitched and although we only had about a month until our wedding, she was very accommodating to help us fit in 3 lessons around work in our own home. Siobhan was prompt, pleasant and professional from the very first lesson. She worked with us to choreograph a routine that worked with our song and natural (lack of) rhythm. I was anxious about the first dance as I had never done a choreographed dance before but Siobhan helped us to push our limits yet ensured we were comfortable with the routine. We had a lot of fun with her and would definitely recommend her. She is an excellent dance teacher!

We booked two lessons on Sunday, the teacher came to our home, she was very patient and made us feels at ease .

Siobhan was fantastic in helping us prepare our first dance - we were both pretty nervous about the whole thing but she made us so much more confident even after our first session. Siobhan was also really flexible as my husband has some ongoing hip and back issues and she was great at finding movements that were ok for him to do and changing the routine when things weren't working.
