Lily O’Brien’s Chocolates was originally founded by Mary Ann O’Brien in 1992. After discovering her passion for chocolate-making, she was determined to learn more from world-renowned chefs and chocolatiers. With the knowledge she gained from these professionals in both South Africa and Europe, she decided to embark on her own chocolate-making adventure. From her kitchen in Kildare, Ireland, Mary Ann began to create her signature mouth-watering chocolate recipes that quickly impressed her friends and family members. When it became time to expand her business, she decided to name the enterprise after her daughter, Lily.
