Hi, I'm Frankie, the artist behind Illustration by Kiwi. I offer a Live Guest Illustration service for Weddings and Events, creating beautiful watercolour paintings of you and your guests during your special day.
A hugely popular choice for modern couples, live wedding illustration offers a unique and delightful experience for both you and your guests.

You can choose one of my packages, or I would be happy to create a bespoke one that suits your needs. I understand how intense your special day could be, so I would love to make you feel comfortable as much as I can.

PS: In all my wedding and event experiences, I try to illustrate as many portraits as I can, so the number may vary, depending on the details and complexity of the illustration. I try to be fair, but I also like to be generous because...why not? It's your special day, and I want to make it even more special for you!

From the moment we stumbled across Frankie’s Instagram, we knew we needed them at our wedding—what started as a want instantly became a must-have. Their illustrations are beyond stunning: soft, vibrant, and somehow perfectly capture every little detail, with our guests instantly recognisable in the most gorgeous way.
Frankie made the whole process an absolute dream. Their communication was spot-on, every step of the booking was clear and easy, and we always felt in such good hands.
On the day, some guests were a little unsure at first—they assumed “illustrator” meant caricaturist—but the second they saw Frankie’s work up close, they were totally enchanted. Before we knew it, everyone was lining up, excited to be part of the magic!

A perfect personalised touch for our magical wedding
We honestly cannot recommend Frankie highly enough — she was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish!
From our very first email, communication was incredibly smooth and easy. She was always quick to respond, thoughtful in her replies, and genuinely lovely to speak with. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and that kind of ease made a world of difference during the wedding planning process.
On the day itself, both she and her wonderful wife were just fantastic. Their help and coordination behind the scenes made everything run seamlessly — it felt like we didn’t have to lift a finger. They blended in so naturally and added such a warm and friendly energy to the day, while still being the utmost professionals throughout.
The illustrations themselves were absolutely stunning — we and our guests were blown away by the talent and care put into each portrait. Everyone’s still talking about them! It was such a unique and special touch, especially for our guests who had travelled from abroad.

Great wedding service!
Frankie did our wedding in May and added a great touch to the special day by giving all our guests an excellent momento of the day. They were very reasonably priced and very easy to work with and organise ahead of the wedding. I would highly recommend this personal and very professional supplier for your wedding

The best addition to our day!
I really don't know where to start. From the point of booking, Frankie has been exceptional. Their communication throughout and right up until the day has been amazing and they were always happy to answer any queries we had, no matter how small. We loved the idea of a live illustrator at our wedding but couldn't quite find the style we liked, with most often lacking the facial detail, until we found Frankie & Illustration by Kiwi and instantly fell in love. From the moment we booked them, we were SO excited to have Frankie illustrate our guests and we decided to keep it a secret (which was very difficult).
On the day, Frankie and Kirsty brought the VIBES! They are both so lovely, friendly, chatty and professional. Our guests reactions to them being there after the ceremony was also so heart warming to see. Frankie's attention to detail coupled with both of their approachable manner meant that they were a huge hit throughout the afternoon, and it was so nice to see everybody's illustration hanging up after it had been finished. We really loved that myself and my husband were illustrated first, as well as our cake (an added bonus!!) and proudly displayed at the front of their table for all of our guests to see as well.

Wedding portraits April 2025
We had the pleasure of Frankie and Kirstie drawing at our wedding, I absolutely love their artwork so I knew I had to have them at our wedding.
Loads of the guests were really impressed by the illustrations and were really pleased they could take the artwork home.
Everyone was captured perfectly and I’m over the moon with mine and my new husbands portrait as well as the portrait of our cake.
Both Frankie and Kirstie were super friendly and lovely people to meet. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful vendor!
We absolutely loved having Frankie, and her lovely wife Kirsty, illustrating our wedding. Their art is so beautiful and everyone was absolutely gushing about having such wonderful keepsakes. Frankie and Kirsty were also such rays of sunshine - always smiling and so lovely to meet, they added to the amazing happiness of the day.
We also thought they were fantastic to work with, as a vendor! Extremely responsive and very flexible - the packages weren't quite right for us, but they were open to adjusting a few elements to find something that worked better. They also surprised us with a lovely drawing of our cats!

Highly recommend!
We had the most wonderful experience with our illustration artist, who created beautiful custom drawings of the bride, groom, and our wedding guests. The illustrations were absolutely stunning — full of character, charm, and such a lovely personal touch.
