About Sid and Olive Vintage Weddings and Events

Sid and Olive Vintage Weddings and Events specialise in creating a rustic and unique style from their extensive antique collection. Based in the North West, Sid and Olive cover Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, and Greater Manchester.

Founders and best friends Jo and Lou have known each other since they were four years old. They have a mutual love for all things vintage and began collecting items over the years. As they got older their collection was used for decorating wedding venues for their friends and family. This was how the idea for Sid and Olive Vintage Weddings and Events was formed.

With Jo and Lou having a background in the creative industry they have a fantastic eye for retro style and an outstanding ability to produce a quirky and unique wedding décor theme. Both studied creative degrees at university and have gained valuable experience working with happy bridal couples.

    Joanna at Sid&Olive is fantastic and full of ideas. I approached her to dress the venue for my husbands graduation party and I had very little idea of what I wanted besides a relaxed garden party feel. Joanna transformed the marquee into a stunning venue that everyone has been complimenting since. Fantastic service! I highly recommend and will certainly be using her again once I determine what party / event to host next. Many thanks !! Samira

Frequently Asked Questions

Which areas do you cover?

We can cover the whole of the UK for item hire delivery. For venues within 50 miles of our base at CH45 (Wirral, Merseyside) we can offer personal delivery and collection. For venues further afield we use the DPD courier service. For venue styling services we can cover venues within 60 miles of our base.

Which items can be sent via courie

We can send out any items marked on the website with the grey van icon. DPD places limitations on size, weight and restricted materials such as glass, hence why we are unable to send all items.

How much does courier delivery cost?

Return courier delivery starts at £30, and will vary depending on the amount of items you wish to hire. Just ask for a quote.

How do I return couriered items?

You have two options for returning couriered items. 1. We can arrange for a DPD courier to collect the items on a nominated day between 8am-6pm. 2. You can drop the items off at your nearest DPD Drop-off Shop on an agreed day. Find your nearest shop here. We ask that you retain all packaging, and return the items packaged in the condition that you received them.

How much does personal delivery cost?

Personal delivery and collection is free of charge within 15 miles of our base at CH45, and we charge 50p per mile thereafter, up to a total of 60 miles away.

Do you have Public Liability insurance?

Yes, our Public Liability cover insures us for up to £3,000,000. If your venue requires a Certificate of Public Liability Insurance please just let us know.

How long can I hire items for?

With personal delivery we usually deliver items either on the morning of or evening before the event, and collect the again the morning after. If you are collecting items in person just arrange with us when would be the most convenient for you. For items sent out by courier you will usually receive them 2-3 days prior to your event, and are expected to return them on the first working day following the event. If you require a longer period of hire just ask!
