"Tears of laughter, joy and love captured by Helen."
So I originally met Helen at the start of Jan 18 when she conducted a beautiful funeral for a close friend. She was so caring and had clearly taken the time with the family to find out who she was conducting the ceremony for.
It was only as time past that I found out Helen was actually a Celebrant. Fast forward to our wedding planning, when it came to giving notice at the registry office. While we sat there with the registrar with the lists of do and don’t, telling us our choir couldn’t sing certain songs, the readings we loved may not be allowed and no alcohol! We quickly realised the registrar was not going to be able to deliver the ceremony we wanted. Quickly I made contact with Helen, from day 1 she totally got us as a couple. She encouraged us to bring our personalities to the ceremony and to make the day as unique to us as we could. She invested time into us and genuinely seemed interested in all our tales and exploits for our relationship. She made all our crazy ideas happen including a port toast at the end of the ceremony. We were keen to have my husbands daughter involved in the day and Helen made sure she was the star of the show. We couldn’t of asked for a better person to help us kick start our married life and even now people still comment on what a personal and thoughful ceremony it was from start to finish.
If your having doubts on following the ‘traditional’ route and ceremony I would highly recommend you do it your way. That represents the love you share for each other and Helen is the one that can make that dream a reality.

Thank you Sam! I was especially touched by the background of your booking me after seeing me first at the funeral, that link felt very significant. However, I soon realised that this was going to be an exceptional wedding, I'm so glad you booked me! You three make an extraordinary family, and I wish you all love for the future x
