We have two converted horse boxes at The Wedding Pizza Company - Raphael and Donatello. We can cater your main meal, or we can be used in the evening to refuel your guests. We can produce 40 made-to-order pizzas per hour with one box, and 80 per hour with two working in tandem. Each horse box comes with two 500 degree ovens, a chef, and a host to take orders and dress your pizzas
We have a very simple pricing structure - we charge £200 for a horse box with 2 staff, and then £8 per pizza (regardless of the topping)
We can offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free pizzas, and will produce a bespoke menu that reflects exactly what you want - there are many examples on our website and social media. Our dough is made with 00 Caputo flour, our sauce is home made and organic, as are all our vegetables. We dress each pizza with basil from our greenhouses, and offer organic Wilderbee urban chilli honey, imported Italian Parmesan, and No1 Canadian maple syrup (wonderful with bacon)! The pizzas are c10 inches and are Neapolitan style made with a sourdough starter - they will certainly feed a hungry adult. If anything is not eaten (very rare) it is boxed and can be put in your freezer.

I’m so sad I didn’t get to eat my Canadian bacon and maple syrup pizza but everybody said how amazing it was ?? and I’m also sorry that I didn’t get to chat to you more on the day..... it was such a whirlwind and went so fast!!

The Wedding Pizza Company started in 2017. After working in the City for many years I sold my business and was finally able to follow my passion for food. I was given a RoccBox pizza oven for a birthday, and everyone who tasted the pizzas I made encouraged me to go further and start a restaurant.
Rather than diving in we started at Farmers Markets markets before booking a few private parties and weddings. We converted our first horse box Raphael later that year, with our second, Donatello, arriving in September 2018. We have now catered over 50 events serving more than 3,000 pizzas, and have another 40 events booked in for this year.
We serve a sourdough Neapolitan style pizza which is characterised by a thin base and light puffy crust. We import our dough from Naples, and our sauce is home-made, taking over 12 hours to cook. We grow our own basil and as many of the vegetables come from our own garden.
Very simply - £200 per horse box (with one chef and one server) plus £8.00 per pizza, regardless of the topping. No VAT to add!
Each one of our converted horse boxes have 2 ovens and can produce 40 pizzas per hour when in full flow.
We recommend one box for parties with up to 100 guests, and two boxes if we are feeding any more than that. The look works really well in a “festival” setting or outside in the gardens of houses or hotels.
Most people use us as the evening food, as it’s ideal to keep guests going late into the night.
We can be used as the main event as we can made garlic breads and provide salads, as well as making our own baked cheesecake. Next year we are launching The Wedding Steak Company, so will be offering a full day of amazing food.
We are increasingly being asked for vegan pizza, and after months of experimentation we have found cheese that melts! We always offer a vegetarian option, and we can supply gluten free bases.
We can serve whole or half pizzas in a box or on plates - all included in the price
Our most popular pizza is the “3 Little Pigs” (pepperoni, salami, and bacon) although once eaten, the Canadian (bacon and maple syrup) is very popular.
We make everything to order, so we get some interesting requests, including a member of the Royal Family asking for ‘as much meat as you can get on it’!
Our most unusual was a black dough pizza with edible gold leaf - it looked amazing!
The Mountie - a pizza with crispy bacon and maple syrup! I think that pineapple is wrong, but the client is always right!
