Vamos Paella was founded in 2011 by Melissa after she discovered her love for cooking Spanish cuisine when living in Spain. Vamos Paella offers traditional, authentic paella, tapas and desserts and can cater for weddings of any size, whether that’s for 50 or 500 guests. Your guests can watch as the paella is cooked in front of them in huge pans.
Vamos Paella pride themselves on using ingredients of the highest quality to create delicious dishes. All their fresh ingredients are locally and ethically sourced and their rice, paprika and olive oil are all specially chosen to ensure that their dishes are bursting with flavour. They offer a wide variety of paellas including for vegetarians and pescatarians, meaning there is something to keep everyone happy.
Vamos Paella offer five wedding menus to choose from and offer a tasting so that you can try their range of dishes before the wedding day.
We cannot thank Vamos enough for the wonderful food and service at our wedding. The paella's were authentic and delicious and the service from initial enquiry to our wedding was excellent. Melissa spent time on the phone going through our day and at times it felt like we had our own personal wedding planner! Friends and family commented on how great the food was and the day ran smoothly.
Melissa catered for 120 guests at our New Year’s Eve wedding. The food was excellent we had three paellas, salads and a cheese tower and everybody is still raving about them! Melissa was very helpful with all aspects of wedding planning and we had a wonderful relaxed wedding day.
We cater for all kinds of events: wedding breakfasts, evening wedding receptions, post-wedding parties, garden parties, corporate events, special birthday parties or anniversaries, engagement parties, christenings, product launches, charity galas and fund-raisers.
We cater for events with between 50 and 500 sittings and more on a rolling basis. We have a minimum spend of £1000 plus VAT on catering costs.
We will bring a couple of plain black gazebos (3m x 3m) to cook under as well as tables to serve from. For evening festival-style food, we supply biodegradable food boxes, wooden forks and napkins free of charge.
We need an area of 6m x 3m for our gazebos. We cook on portable gas burners, which run off bottled propane gas, so we're completely self-sufficient and don't need electricity. If we're cooking in the dark, we'll bring our own battery-powered lighting.
Access to running water is useful, but not a must. If there isn't any, just let us know and we'll bring our own.
We offer tastings for weddings where you can try some of our signature tapas and paellas, washed down with a glass of chilled white Rioja. We host these at our home in Brighton on Sundays and weekday evenings.
You can bring up to four people with you and it's a great chance to try the food you're thinking of having and to talk through your wedding plans. We charge £75 for this service. However, if you decide to book us, we refund this on your final invoice.
