Saffron Caterers has a wealth of experience when it comes to providing the very best in wedding catering to make your day truly special. We have a dedicated team of Chefs and event management staff who are passionate about delivering the very best in food and service.
Unlike other caterers, we pride ourselves on providing a bespoke approach to creating the perfect wedding menu, meeting with couples to realise their vision whether it be a formal five course wedding breakfast or an afternoon tea and barbecue.
We are extremely proud to be a preferred supplier at many prestigious venues in and around London and have also provided wedding catering at many beautiful home weddings across the UK.
We are a family run company based in London, and we know the value of working as a close knit team and are all passionate about good food. We achieve this by using locally sourced produce to create our award winning menus that help to create a unique and memorable experience. We had the pleasure of having Saffron Catering 'host' our wedding breakfast in August, and what an amazing job! From the very beginning with a tasting evening and plate adaptations, to prepping our rustic farm venue, to delivering knock-out courses in the middle of a field - the whole team were professional and fun. The food was outstanding and really made our day. We have had so many of our friends and family comment on the food, they really delivered for all dietary requirements and surpassed our (high) expectations. So lovely to work with. Saffron Caterers were fantastic caterers to work with, and made our big day very special! We loved the tailor-made menu - and the chef was great at coming up with delicious, original vegetarian ideas that perfectly suited our tastes even when we weren't quite sure what we wanted! All our guests commented on how lovely the food was.

The following information is always very useful:
• Number of guests (daytime and evening)
• Approximate timings of the day
• Confirm where the ceremony will be (i.e. if it’s at the same venue we need extra staff to turn the room around for dinner during the drinks reception)
• Would you like canapes served during a drinks reception?
• Would you like a 2 course/ 3 course meal (sharing platters/ sit down plated etc.) or something more informal like a barbecue or afternoon tea?
We will organise all tableware, glassware, linen, kitchen equipment, tables and chairs (subject to the venue) and co—ordinate the deliveries.
We will fully staff your wedding with chefs, waiting staff and an Event Manager.
Of course not, these are purely to give you an indication of what’s popular with our clients. We like to offer our clients a bespoke menu service discussing your preferred tastes and ideas, working together to create the perfect menus. We have catered many different weddings such as Chinese Banquets, Nigerian buffet, Indian sharing platters to the traditional three course sit down meal.
We offer tastings at our kitchen premises in North London for our clients to sample menus to help make that important decision. We offer appointments on Monday evenings and lunchtimes during the week and book several weeks in advance.
The tasting is part of the service should you chose Saffron to cater your wedding, otherwise, we charge £150 which covers the cost of a full tasting experience for two people.
We will discuss final menus and dietary requirements at the pre-wedding meeting six weeks before the wedding and require final numbers three weeks before. We will then ensure all guests are catered for and discuss any alternative menus for guests with dietary requirements.
We do not charge corkage and will happily arrange to chill and serve any drinks you chose to supply for your guests.
Our Event Managers have a wealth of experience and they will be your point of contact once you have confirmed your booking. They will arrange a meeting about 6 weeks before your wedding to ensure all aspects of the day are covered such as confirming timings, seating plan, dietary requirements, table set up, venue set up, what drinks you are serving, the service itself, confirming details of all your suppliers such as your florist, cake, DJ. Your Event Manager will ensure they are aware where all your suppliers are setting up making it a stress-free experience!
We have a recommended supplier list of people we have worked with and can thoroughly recommend from experience of working with them.
We require a 20% deposit to secure the date and the balance and final numbers are due 21 days before the wedding date.
We will send full terms and conditions to all clients when a booking is confirmed.
