From start to finish, communicating with Amanda was amazing. I had some reference images I liked for a castle cake, and it was no problem! The whole process was very professional, and hassle-free. And the end result, well. I've got to show you all a picture and you can see how flipping amazing our castle cake was! It tasted SO good too! (Best I've ever had!)
I think it stole the show over me, but no way am I bothered by it ;D hahaha!
Will no doubt be back for other occasions. Can not recommend her enough!

Amanda, made the whole process so easy and straightforward , and kept us up to date with every stage of the planning. On our wedding day, she delivered the most unique and perfect cake, even though we weren’t sure what type of cake we wanted Amanda took us through the whole process and helped our dream Cake come to life. Our flavours were chocolate vanilla raspberry and white chocolate and lemon. All of our guest said how beautiful the cake was and how it tasted amazing I couldn’t have wished for a better experience thank you Amanda.Durham City Cakes's reply:

Our cake was a little unusual, and we were so lucky to have been recommended to Durham City Cakes . Amanda was so helpful and easy to work with and nothing was too much. Our cake was perfect, the cake was a stunning centrepiece and we spent quite some time looking at the fine details, ! Unbeatable
Amanda is absolutely amazing! Even if her cakes weren’t to die for (which they are) she’d have been high up on our list as she’s so great to deal with through the process. She really takes the time to get to know what you want and you just instantly trust that she’ll do well and has understood your wishes for your cake. She did our wedding cake and not a single person didn’t compliment it. I’m vegan with a milk allergy and she was so accommodating to us and our needs. She was brilliant with allergies as well! I literally couldn’t fault a single thing and just want to order from her for any reason we can now! Me and my husband have said we want to get a mini replica of our wedding cake each year for our anniversary. The most delicious cakes ever! So soft and fluffy and full of flavour but not heavy, stodgy or sickly either. Just light and delicate and indulgent at the same time. I really could go on all day. You won’t regret booking her. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into your wedding cake. Her designs are just so truly beautiful and her work is an art. 10/10 on every single point!Durham City Cakes's reply:

Dream Wedding Cake
I found Amanda online after being shown some of her work by a friend of mine and I just knew I needed a consultation for my wedding cake. She was very patient & kind, & really helped bring my dream to life. The consultation was amazing & I knew what to expect from the get go. She was very professional & completed my cake to the highest of standards, I wish I could do my wedding day again, just to have her do another wedding cake for me. Wedding Cake
Amanda made us the most amazing wedding cake. She brought our vision to life with four different flavours (lemon, vanilla, red velvet and chocolate) and it tasted amazing, so amazing we actually got her to make the chocolate layer for our first wedding anniversary in the same style of our wedding cake.
We have also used her for special birthdays since, as her cakes are that good and are definitely worth the moneyDurham City Cakes's reply:
