Toni was so helpful told her my budget and cake colours. She gave me a quote straight away! Also delivered the cake the day before wedding at the hotel and looked amazing! Everyone said how lovely it looked and tasted delicious thanks so much Toni 💒🥂
Excellent communication with Toni cake was lovely decorated and tasted delicious thanks again for making our wedding special!

Truly what can I say ?
Toni did not disappoint with this cake. I will admit I was worried about our wedding cake, but only because I'm a complete control freak and had totally no control over what it would look or taste like.
I do wanted a traditional fruit cake with marzipan and Royal icing but all other bakers refused. That was when I came across this wonderful lady. From our original phone call and my very basic details of what I wanted she created the most beautiful cake I had ever seen.
The top layer of our cake was sponge and I'm told it was tasty and as light as anything, (none left so I presume they told me the truth).
The middle and bottom layer were my much wanted fruit cake. This I did taste. The amount of fruit in it was unbelievable and it was so moist.
I would definitely recommend "A spoonful of Sugar' to anyone want a tasty beautiful cake for that celebration. -

Our cake turned up even better than we could have hoped for. Toni is a truly brilliant cake artist and we would definitely recommend her services.
Everything from communication, cake tasting, working with us on design and flavours, to sending us photos the night before was absolutely perfect.

Our Wedding Cake Was a Triumph
Toni is a very talented lady. She made our wonderful wedding cake and it was a hit. Not only did it taste amazing (comments said by our guests) but it looked beautiful too. Toni was very patient with my various changes in flavours but the final three - lemon and blueberry, salted caramel and white chocolate and raspberry were utterly gorgeous. She even popped round with some samples, which were beautifully packaged. Our cake was reasonably priced and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Toni to anyone wanting a show stopping cake or to use Toni again (for birthdays of course as I’ve no intention in getting married again 😄). Thank you Toni. -

Wouldn’t use ANYONE else
You know how you see gorgeous cakes and worry they won’t taste good? I am not a huge cake fan and had that worry and oh word I was blown away. We had three tiers, chocolate, Genoa sponge and carrot cake. All three were heavenly. I’m not a huge chocolate cake fan but we got that as it’s normally a crowd pleaser and when I tried it I ended up hiding a huge slice because it was so so good. The Genoa sponge was the biggest tier and we ate that for a few days after and shared with family. The amount of fruit was perfect. The carrot cake was also sublime. I regularly think about ordering a cake just because! The decoration was EXACTLY as I specified and looked so much better than I had imagined.
Moving on from the actual cake and taste, Toni was amazing. I live in a super rural location which maps doesn’t take you to even if you put in the address. We had our reception there and in the chaos of the day I didn’t actually answer the phone to help Toni find us, she didn’t complain at all and happily sorted the final bits on the day.
For the work that went into the cake and how delicious it was, I don’t begrudge paying what feels like a lot of money. When you compare across the cake was amazing value for money and I actually think should have been more expensive.
In case you can’t tell, I 100% recommend. -

Absolutely wonderful!
The perfect cake for our perfect day, looked amazing and all three layers (fruit cake, Carrot cake and Red Velvet) tasted soo good!
Thank you for making it to the dietary requirements we needed too, we loved it and I know all our guests did too! -
