  Brilliant, innovative service

  I came to Sue towards the end of last year as I was due to perform in a Christmas, pantomime style production as Queen Elsa. I had ordered a dress online, which turned out to be terrible quality when it arrived. Sue gave the dress an overhaul, completely replacing the bottom half and attaching some better quality fur around the collar, all in a very short space of time and I was delighted with the results. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

  Perfect Dress!

  Thank you Sue for making my dress absolutely perfect! There was so much to alter to make it fit perfectly and you did an amazing job. You were so flexible and knew exactly what I wanted, it was really great working with you and I appreciate all the effort and time you put in to make my dress extra special. Thank you again, would definately recommend!

  Excellent Service Every Time

  Sue has made and altered special occasion / expensive clothes for me during the last two years. She has an impeccable eye for detail and excellent tailoring and dressmaking skills. A bonus is that she's always a pleasure to deal with too!

  Fabulous work and trustworthy and professional

  Absolutely fantastic!!!!!

  Well, what can I say about Sue Gamesby?? There’s not enough stars to rate her! She can literally do anything you ask, practically remade my daughters wedding dress and the viel, I have never seen such professionalism and exquisite craftsmanship, not only is she extremely talented, she is a gorgeous, kind,patient lady.
  We made a new friend when we met Sue, we’re actually going to miss our visits to her unit ☹️.
  I cannot praise her enough, she’ll make your Big Day extra special,100% recommend ♥️

  A wonderful designer and dressmaker. Goes above and beyond with customers. Very talented and skilled in what she does. Has designed and made many of my dresses for my graduations, special birthdays and is my regular seamstress. Amazing service. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

  Fantastic service and lovely lady :)

  What a lovely little shop this is! Fantastic service from start to finish, Sue made it the most lovely and enjoyable experience with altering my wedding dress! Remarkable job, Sue sorted my straps out and the length of my dress absolutely perfectly! Made me feel so confident on my blessing day :) I would recommend to anyone!

  A professional and perfect service with a personal touch

  A wonderful lady who goes above and beyond to make sure you feel amazing on your wedding day - and in my case she did exactly that ! I was lucky enough to have Sue alter my wedding dress and she even came to our wedding venue on the morning of my wedding to dress me - which was a huge relief for me as the back of my dress had a corset fastening, which I really wanted doing properly. Sue was always so kind and positive during our fittings and made me feel so beautiful in my dress. On my wedding day she made me feel amazing and I'm so grateful to her for that. I recommend Sue to all brides to be - she offers a service which is personable, friendly and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again for any dress or outfit alterations.
