To ensure your gown is the perfect fit, we are one of very few boutiques that can boast about having an in-house seamstress within our store. Helen is a highly qualified, skilled seamstress. Her work is second to none! Helen will work with you to ensure your gown is perfect, whether you are just having a few alterations to fit or making changes for a more bespoke gown.

Do I need an appointment
Appointments are preferred, but we do welcome walk-in appointments. However Saturdays and Sundays are our most active days and appointments are required.
How many guests can I bring to my appointment?
We advise no more than 2-3 guests. You will have a far more enjoyable experience if you bring those who will help you make this important decision. Once you find your dress there is plenty of time to bring additional guests to any future appointments.
How long is my bridal consultation?
A bridal appointment on average takes approximately 90 minutes. However, we never rush you out the door. If of course, you feel you want to try more and we have another appointment following yours, you are very welcome to revisit our store to try more gowns on. Usually 90 minutes is adequate for most brides.
When should I purchase my Wedding Dress?
We suggest to start your Wedding Dress search 9 months to 1 year prior to your wedding. The majority of ordered gowns are usually delivered between 4-6 months from date of order, however it is advisable to allow enough time for any amendments or alterations to your gown. We are able to offer alternative options if your wedding is imminent.
What price range are your wedding gowns?
Our price range is between £1300.00 - £2500.00 to order. However, we do have sample gowns always available less than £1000.00
Are alterations included in the price of the wedding gown.
Alterations to your wedding gown are extra. We are very fortunate to have an in-house seamstress whose skills are second to none. She will be able to give you a quote of what the costs will be to have your gown altered.
How many fittings would I need for my alterations?
Our in-house seamstress will advise you on your first fitting how many fittings are required. Sometimes only 2 fittings are needed if the alterations are relatively simple. If however, you require for example, sleeves, embellishments or other changes to your gown, you may require more.
When should I have my first fitting.
Usually 2-3 months prior to your wedding is what our seamstress advises. However, if your wedding is within weeks, our seamstress can prioritise to have your dress ready for your wedding.
What do I need to bring to my first fitting?
It is absolutely imperative to bring your shoes. If you do not have your actual shoes you are wearing at your wedding, it is important to bring shoes with the same heel height that you are planning. This is crucial so that our seamstress can alter the length of your gown accurately. The majority of Wedding Gowns are now made so that you need not wear a bra. However, if you are planning on wearing a bra or any special underwear, it is important to bring these too.
Do you store my wedding gown?
When your Wedding Gown arrives, we are happy to store your gown right up until your wedding day for a nominal fee of £50.00. This is to cover insurance and to save you taking your gown home and worrying about wear to store it and then having to return it for your fittings.
Do you steam or press my Wedding Gown?
We will always steam or press your Wedding Gown prior to your wedding day.
What about cleaning my Wedding Gown after my Wedding?
We use a specialised Wedding Dress cleaning company, which we use to clean our sample gowns periodically. We will give you their contact details so that you can arrange for them to collect and deliver your gown. Their costs are very reasonable compared to high street cleaners.

Lovely wedding dress shop
My Mum and I had such a special time at Fross. The shop is absolutely lovely, and very spacious. They have a beautiful range of dresses and we both felt extremely safe given the current regulations. We had a perfect appointment with Jeri, who gave advice and space where needed and was extremely accommodating allowing me to sleep on my decision and come back the next day to say yes to my dream dress.
