The Tailor’s Cat was established in 1997. Situated in the heart of Cambridge now houses over 100 exquisite bridal gowns and 200 bridesmaid dresses by leading designers including collections by Ian Stuart, Rose Couture, Allure, Anoushka G, Mori Lee, Mark Lesley, Private Label by G, JLM Couture and Dessy. These are complemented by a stunning choice of accessories in contemporary and vintage styling. The full range extends from the designer collections to the more affordable.
The Tailor’s Cat retains the essence of it’s boutique roots by offering appointments that are relaxed with a friendly personal service, adapted to the individual needs of each client.
Tailors Cat was by far one of the best bridal shops that I visited to find my wedding dress. Unlike a number of the shops I visited, I had my own personal room, with a sofa, changing room, full length mirrors, shoes, a selection of veils and a plastic bouquet. The selection of dresses was marvellous and the team were so incredibly friendly and helpful. After seeing all the dresses I picked out, it was a member of staff who suggested that she had seen a dress she thought I might like, and she was right, it was perfect and ended up being the dress I bought! They were fantastic through the whole process. Due to shoe issues I had to go for a number of fittings and the staff were so wonderful every single time. I loved my dress and felt so beautiful in it. The staff at Tailors Cat made the process so much fun and choosing my dress was one of the highlights of the wedding prep. Thank you so much!!!
Always loved this shop, an impressive collection of bridal wear and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Can recommend it and you will not be disappointed!
