I booked a trial and bridal makeup session with Vanko, and she has been absolutely lovely throughout the whole process. She has great attention to detail and is very adaptable to different styles and suggestions.
I wore a semi-traditional Chinese-style wedding dress, and she styled my hair and makeup perfectly to match, complete with beautiful gold hair accessories and earrings.
I’m so happy with how everything turned out — I felt amazing on the day! Highly recommend Vanko! 💕 -

thank you so so much to Vanko for making my day! She has been super helpful from the makeup trial which I was nervous about and all the other interactions I had with her up until the big day. She was able to understand my needs and be able to pick a style suitable for my facial features, and be able to adapt to doing my hair slightly differently than planned as I had cut it a little too short. Despite not part of her job, she also helped me with putting the gown on and making sure I look my best throughout - I can't thank her enough for all her effort (and her speed!!) and kindness. 100% would come back to her for any special occasions make up! -

I really wanted an MUA with experience for asian features for my big day as I have un-even eye lids and needed someone comfortable using eyelid tape. I found Vanko via Insta and she responded so quickly with information and answered all queries I had. From our trail she took the time to go in detail on my make-up and hair options and worked with me to create the perfect look. She also did all my bridal party hair on the day and they make out amazing! My final makeup and hair on the big day was all I ever wanted and everyone was complimenting me the whole day! The make-up held up so well even with my emotional tears throughout and it was a warm summer day! Vanko was really friendly and easy to talk to during the day while we were getting ready, she came bright and early all ready for the busy morning ahead. I would 100% recommend Vanko to anyone for a looking for a MUA she made me feel and look so beautiful. Also her handmade accessories are also so beautiful and completed my look for the day! -

Vanko is an incredible makeup artist! She gives a thorough consultation before the big day to make sure the look suits you perfectly and you feel completely confident and happy. She’s super professional, friendly, and so helpful throughout the whole process. Great value for money and highly recommended!

Highly recommend Vanko for bridal makeup!
I didn’t get a chance to do a makeup trial, so I was a bit nervous before the pre-wedding photo shoot - but Vanko did such an amazing job with my makeup! It turned out even better than I hoped and was perfect for the pre-wedding photos. 🤍 She was also super flexible and stayed longer than planned on the day, which we really appreciated. Vanko was just great to have around - not just with makeup but also by helping out in so many little ways on the day. Can’t recommend enough to all bride-to-be near Manchester area. Thank you so much, Vanko! -

Thank you so much to Vanko for the amazing makeup and hairstyling! The makeup and hairstyle turned out beautifully, with a natural yet polished look — not too heavy, but still elegant. What made me happiest was that all my friends complimented the look and said it really suited me, which gave me so much confidence for the day! -

Vanko is from Manchester and she came all the way to Derby to do mine, my mum and all of my bridesmaids make up. She been absolutely amazing and super friendly.
She is super professional, we had a schedule but she been so quick and professional and get it done before the schedule. And we all looked absolutely amazing. Definelty will go back to her for our next event.Vanko.mua's reply:
