Holly was really brilliant, from the make-up trial to the day itself. I don't tend to wear a lot of make-up myself and wanted a more natural look, and Holly understood and knew exactly what to do and the end result was wonderful, I was so pleased that she helped ensure that myself and my bridesmaids looked absolutely stunning! She is lovely to chat to and very friendly which makes everything so much easier and relaxed. Thanks Holly! -

Holly did mine, my two bridesmaids and my mum and nans makeup for my special day!
A trial a year out from my wedding and she remembered all the details! She is friendly, chatty and fitted right into the wedding morning! I am so grateful to Holly for making me feel like the most Beautiful bride! And for saving the day when my dress wouldn’t do up properly at first! A true hero and her calmess in this moment I will be forever grateful for! I will be recommending her to everyone I know and hopefully using her again in the future for other events! As a bride who wears glasses and barely wears makeup day to day, I was really anxious about finding a makeup artist who represented what I was looking for. Brides with glasses often have a certain bold lip look or go heavy, but I wanted natural glow. I spent ages scrolling through portfolios and felt like no one quite got it… until I met Holly at an open evening at our venue.
From the moment we started chatting, she completely understood where I was coming from. She listened to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions, and was genuinely excited to work with a bride who wears glasses. I felt so seen and heard, and it was clear she cared about making me feel comfortable and confident.
At the trial, Holly was amazing. She created a soft, natural look that felt like me but better and gave me tips on how to get my skin in the best shape.
And on the big day, she did makeup for me and all my bridesmaids with such care, listening to each of their preferences and making everyone feel beautiful. From covering birthmarks to helping girls try lashes for the first time, she was patient, reassuring, and just lovely to have around.

Holly is incredible!
I honestly don’t have enough words to say how thankful I am and how wonderful Holly is! Thank you for making me feel amazing and for your help on Saturday! We had the best day ever! You are so so talented, and such a lovely person. You made me feel so at ease and comfortable, and the bridesmaids/mums all loved you too! My make up felt so natural, light and elegant. The wedding morning was emotional and Holly even stayed to help touch up my make up after the first looks, so kind of you! Thank you so so much xx -

Holly was incredible from the moment I booked her right through to the big day itself. She was so warm and calming to have around on the wedding morning and made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and special.
Our make-up was absolutely beautiful, flawless but natural, and it lasted perfectly all day (even with a lot of happy tears and dancing!). Holly listened to exactly what we wanted and got it spot on for every one of us, even my 9-year-old loved being part of the bridal party!
I felt amazing and like the very best version of myself.
I can’t recommend Bridal by Holly O’Connor highly enough; she is a true professional and a genuinely lovely person to have with you on such an important day.

Holly was so fabulous to my wedding party and me - I couldn't recommend her enough! Planning for the big day across different time zones presented an interesting challenge, but Holly made coordination as seamless as possible.
The day of the wedding, she arrived early, ready to work with a large group (my mum, sister, mum-in-law, sister-in-law, and bridesmaids). I had such a good time getting makeup tips from her and talking about products we both like.
Thanks to Holly's skill and speed, everyone was in their best looks on schedule, in time for a magical day. She helped me GLOW for my wedding - her highlighting made me look so sculpted in my dress, and my makeup held up so well into the wee hours of the night after the reception thanks to her guidance.
I couldn't recommend Holly enough for your big day! She's a joy to work with. -

I had the absolute pleasure of having my bridal makeup done by Holly and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final touches on the big day, she were incredibly professional, attentive, and talented. I don’t think I’ve ever felt prettier than I did on my wedding day!

I would highly recommend Holly for your wedding make-up artist. Holly is so lovely and puts you at ease straight away, while also remaining very professional. She really listens to what everyone wanted like and executed each make-up look perfectly for all of my bridal party. I don't usually wear much make-up day to day, so I was a bit apprehensive, but I had absolutely nothing to worry about as Holly gave me a make-up look that was stunning but still looekd like me. Not only this, Holly went above and beyond when things got a little bit hectic towards the end of the morning. Her calming presence was exactly what I needed. I couldn't thank Holly enough. If I was to do my wedding again, I would not hesitate to book Holly again xx
