Freya did a brilliant job of my hair and make up, and I know my bridesmaids were pleased with theirs as well. For someone who doesn’t wear much make up, it was important to me that my make up didn’t look over the top and I think Freya made it look special and also natural! Thanks so much!

Where to begin - I'm so pleased I came across Freya. I warmed to her immediately as soon as we met and I couldn't have asked for a better person to play such a big part of my wedding morning. Freya is so talented and met my brief exactly - along with a colleague she did the hair and makeup of myself and my 4 bridesmaids. It was like having a couple of extra friends there chatting with us in the morning - our hair/makeup stayed perfect all day and we all felt gorgeous. Freya was very approachable and easy to get on with right from the initial Instagram messages, to the trial and on the day. Freya worked flexibly between two venues to get my wedding party ready in time and every single one of my bridesmaids loved their finished hair and make up. Freya remained calm and professional throughout and made me feel extremely relaxed on the day. Thank you so much for truly making me feel so pretty! Both my hair and make up was exactly the natural yet flawless look I was looking for!

I cannot recommend Freya enough for bridal hair and make up! I wanted to have a relaxed, fun morning before the wedding where I could rely on someone to do both my hair and make up (a hard find!), as well as my 4 bridesmaids. The trial with Freya was thorough and she took the time to work out exactly what I wanted. Even when I made slight changes closer to the wedding after the trial, she was completely open and flexible to them. On the morning, she brought an assistant, Soniya, with her to ensure the day flowed perfectly. They were both professional, relaxed, hilarious and absolute life savers (emergency sewing kit!!). All of my bridal party spoke about how much fun they were and how beautiful they all felt for the wedding. All of my bridal party have different types of skin texture, tone and type of hair so to flawlessly be able to do all of us is a real skill to be applauded! We actually ended up being ready slightly early which was amazing as it gave us time to do some photos and enjoy the build up before the ceremony. Freya even went above and beyond; she helped my flower girl with her hair (she is 4 so not an easy task!) and she helped me get into my wedding dress! Not to mention we had a venue change halfway through to move to the beauty room and again, this was not a problem at all for both Freya and Soniya! I really believe choosing a make up and hair artist is so key to having the wedding morning you want and I would encourage anyone who is looking for recommendations to enquire with Freya - you won’t regret it! Where to begin. This is late review but deserves to be told. Ladies it’s your big day and your looking for a hair and make up artist look no further and the lovely Freya! I got married back in March and had a hair and make up trail which was just amazing. Freya not only gave me a feel on what my hair and make up would be like. But this lady knows her stuff. She gave me the most useful skin and hair tips too. Then it comes to the wedding day Freya did an incredible job for my wedding party and there was a few of us!
Freya is some you can rely on to do a great job but also someone who has a kind heart and the most calmest when things get busy on the day.

Freya offers both hair and make up services. She came to my home to do the trial and on the day hair and make up. From the word go, she made me feel relaxed and confident she would provide the look I wanted for my special day. I was so pleased with the result, I wanted to look like me 'but on a good day' and that was achieved.

I was really nervous to have my hair and makeup done, having never had it before but Freya made me feel amazing and her calm and thoughtful personality was exactly what I needed to make me feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day! Freya is highly skilled but it’s not just that, she is also a really lovely person. You might not think this is important but trust me on your wedding day it makes all the difference.
I wanted a relaxed boho hairstyle and natural looking makeup and wow did Freya just get it! She was so patient during our trial and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I showed her lots of photos of what I wanted and she listened and then made me look even better than I had imagined! She also did my mums makeup – my mum has darker skin and was anxious because she’d never had makeup done and had this huge anxiety that people can’t do makeup for her skin tone, again Freya was so patient and did a fantastic job to reassure her. The end result was amazing, my mum liked it and she is a difficult person to please!
On the day she was calm, organised and stayed until I was in my dress to do final touch-ups! Thank you so much Freya, now I just need to find an excuse to book you again!

I cannot rate Freya highly enough. Honestly.
She is so much more than just a bridal makeup artist. With all her years of experience working in London and doing hair and makeup on shoots for massive brands like Burberry and Boohoo, her bridal portfolio doesn't do her justice at all! On the day and during my trial, her experience in not just the wedding industry REALLY showed. She didn't just know how to make someone look 'bridal' by doing the same makeup every other bride would have, she was able to really make me look as much 'me' as possible but to bring a bridal vibe to it.
Her skills in doing hair are just as impressive as the makeup side. She did myself, my sister and a bridesmaid on my wedding day and everyone got EXACTLY what they asked for plus more. She goes above and beyond to make sure if something isn't right that she'll tweak it until you're happy.
On the morning of my wedding there were 7 of us to have hair and makeup done and we fell behind time wise but surrounded by all of the stress of things going wrong, Freya was the calm who made sure whatever needed doing was done.
She even went above and beyond and covered up some marks on my husband granddad's head between bridesmaids.
Price-wise, I would have paid more for Freya than any other bridal makeup artist that charges the earth, yet Freya is so reasonably priced.
As a person, she's exactly the sort of person you want to be around on the morning of your wedding. From 8am to 1pm she didn't stop not only doing hair and makeup amazingly but chatting to the whole bridal party. It really felt as though we'd all known her forever!
I'd definitely recommend having a trial with Freya as it is a less time pressured session to really work out what you like and what you don't like. After my trial I had decided on a few things I wanted changed for the day and even up to the last minute on the day Freya was able to change what she was doing if I asked her to. When she handed me the mirror to look at my makeup my jaw dropped and she said 'Oh no - is it too much?' and I just said 'No. I absolutely love it. Wow!'. I couldn't believe how beautiful she made me feel.
We were running so behind that I had to rush off to get my dress on and just before my dad came to get me to walk me down the aisle Freya showed up with some last minute brushes and powders just to make sure everything was exactly as I wanted before I headed down to the ceremony.

I contacted and booked Freya after her very quick reply through Hitched. I had previously had a hair trial with someone else and it did not turn out how I had hoped and wanted, so I was rather nervous, but didn't need to be at all as Freya was amazing. Knowing now what I know about how talented and knowledgeable she is I am amazed that she was available at such short notice. Honestly... book her now, you will not be disappointed. I went for a hair and make-up trial the following week and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. From the moment I arrived I felt at ease, she listened to what look I was after and set to work. The time flew by as we chatted away as if i'd known her for years. When I looked in the mirror... well... I was stunned, I looked beautiful, it was exactly the look that I had imagined. On the day she arrived and fitted in with my bridal party like a dream, she was so calm and friendly, everyone loved her. She created exactly the same look for me, but even more beautifully if that was possible. She also applied the make-up for 3 of my bridesmaids, listening to each of them and applying the look that they asked for. I would recommend Freya every time and use her again in a heart-beat. I can highly recommend Freya - she was so friendly and caring and really did the most amazing job on my hair and makeup on my wedding day. She asked for my thoughts and wishes and made them all come true! She worked so hard and was so helpful and kept in touch in the weeks leading up to the wedding making sure she could also be prepared for doing our 4 bridesmaids hair as well.
I never thought my hair could look as nice as she made it and she was so knowledgeable about makeup and again did the most amazing job.
I would happily recommend her talent and would love to have my hair and make up done again by her in a heartbeat!

Absolutely delighted with the make-up and hair styling provided by Freya on the day.
I do not like heavy make-up and was concerned about how the make-up may look. But Freya took everything I said into consideration and did it perfectly! She was great at giving advise for what to do when I was unsure.
My hair was beautiful, exactly what I wanted! And most importantly it held all day without a hair out of place.

I felt absolutely beautiful.

The make up also lasted all day, something I usually have a problem doing, but it did not budge! It even stayed on from the morning after as I fell asleep with it on!

My bridesmaids, mother and flower girls as well loved their make up and hair. I especially appreciated what she did for my flower girl, as I did not want heavy make up but wanted her to feel included. It was age appropriate and beautiful for all.
