UK & Destination Weddings
As a professional makeup artist whose work has been featured at celebrity red carpet events and in the press, I'm here to bring a touch of glamour to your special day and make and your bridal party look and feel your most amazing and confident.
Whether you’re looking to achieve a luxurious touch of glamour or a more natural look, my signature flawless “soft glam” makeup style means you'll look stunning both in photos and in the flesh, with long wear makeup that lasts through tears, dancing (and maybe the odd Prosecco) and enhances your personal features and wedding style.
As well as having been a Finalist for the Kent Wedding Awards, I'm certified by both Ariel Tejada (Kylie Jenner’s makeup artist) and Charlotte Tilbury and am a real perfectionist who prides myself on my artistry.
I would love to get you glam for your special day wherever in the UK or abroad! Please contact me for availability and a quote.
Just wanted to say thank you and how amazing you are Kate right from the beginning when I booked and was so great at my trial and literally my makeup was exactly how I had always wanted it for my big day! I'm so glad I booked you to do my makeup for wedding me and my bridesmaids were so impressed with your work, and our makeup stayed on all day in the heat and all the tears of the wedding lol it looked the same at the end of the night as it did when we had it put on! we all received so many compliments from everyone on how well it was done, you are such lovely lady and so professional, and will definitely book you again when I need my make up doing. Thanks again Kate xxxxxx
Kate did my Wedding Makeup for myself and my family in June. She was really patient and listened and discussed how best to make the look I wanted at a trial and reproduced it perfectly on the day. It lasted all day and looked amazing in the photos. Thank you so much. Xx
I usually advise a trial beteeen 2-3 months before the big day, unless of course it’s to assist you in choosing a supplier. The trial lasts approx 90 minutes, during which time we’ll discuss any makeup ideas that you may have (taking into consideration your personal style and colouring), as well as other factors like the style, colour scheme and feel of your wedding. It’s helpful but not essential to bring photos, as I am here to offer guidance throughout the trial in how to achieve the look you’d like.
During the trial we can also cover any sensitivities you may have to ensure that the most appropriate makeup for you is used.
On completing the trial we then have the finished look to re-create on the day, tailored especially to you. I am also able to advise on any products you may need (lipstick, powder) to touch up throughout the day should you wish to.
Trials are also available for other members of the bridal party, but they are entirely optional.
I’ll travel to you on the day to the venue of your choice to ensure that you have an as-relaxing-as-possible (and hopefully fun!) morning.
I like to leave approx. 1 hour per person for makeup, although this isn’t essential, allowing plenty of time for you to get into your dress, have any photos taken and complete any finishing touches before you leave. For that reason larger parties are likely to have an earlier start, but this is perfectly normal - just make sure you get a good night’s sleep the night before!
I tend to complete the bride’s makeup second to last, so that your makeup isn’t rushed and is fresh for the ceremony. For the bridesmaids or Mums going first in the running order, please be assured that I make sure that all members of the bridal party are aisle and photo ready before I leave! I am able to liaise with hairstylists in advance if an exact person-by-person schedule is required.
Yes! I don’t add a surcharge for lashes. Even if you only want very natural lashes, I am a firm believer that lashes make a look and would always advise using them, although it is of course entirely down to the individual. I stock a range of lashes which we can tailor to your eye size and look, all of which are luxury and re-usable up to 15 times. If you already have lash extensions then that is fine too :) .
The good news is, yes! During the trial we’ll have selected products that are the best for your skin type, to ensure that your makeup stays in place all day. I use only the best products (most of which are luxury) to promote longevity and wearability. Realistally, the only things you would need to re-apply would be your lip products (liner, lipstick, gloss if chosen - no lipstick is invincible unless it’s a matte glued to your lips!) and powder to mattify certain areas should you need it. However, I also take precautions for oily skin which will keep any shine at bay for as long as possible.
All mascara used on the day is 100% waterproof and tear proof - tried and tested!
Depending on the time of the wedding, I am able to complete bridal parties of up to 7/8 on my own. For any larger groups, or should the wedding have an earlier start, I may need to enlist the services of a fellow makeup artist of a similar standard to assist. Where this is the case, I ensure that they are fully briefed with the look and feel for the day. I will always do the Bride’s makeup.
No :( sadly not! But I can recommend a handful of hair stylists whose work I have personally seen and loved if you need help finding someone.
I trained at the London School of Makeup and have a background working for Charlotte Tilbury, a specialist brand in healthy, fresh looking skin. I am also Ariel Tejada (Kylie Jenner’s Makeup Artist) certified and my makeup has been featured on the red carpet (National TV Awards) and in the press.
