Able to travel all over Yorkshire,and UK destination weddings. Kay Binnersley Bridal Hair and Makeup is known for their holistic approach to wedding beauty.

Kay uses high-quality products that are cruelty-free, vegan, and eco-friendly. During your consultation, you can tell her all about the colours, details, and touches that you'd like your hair and makeup to feature. You are welcome to visit her luxury salon prior to your big day to discuss your perfect wedding aesthetic. Video calls can be organised to ensure I am the right fit for your wedding.

For larger weddings I have a small team of exceptional hairdressers and make up artists I work with.

Small weddings also accommodated.

What is included in the wedding package?

When booking both Hair and make up a special Package price is charged. Included in the service, hair and skin preparation, to ensure the lasting quality , padding for the hair if required,

How far in advance should I contact you?

It is advisable to book as soon as you have booked your Wedding Date. I am generally booked a year in advance. Popular dates and months book very quickly. Avoid disappointment and secure your date

Do you work at homes?

Yes

What is the charge for travelling?

From £25.00 styling on location, plus 70p per mile . Local weddings incur a lower fee. (Styling on location is the traveling time to and from a venue.)

What is your main business area?

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?

Yes

How many people can you beautify for one wedding?

I work with small and large wedding parties. I have a small highly qualified team that works along side me on large weddings. Myself and my team stay till your are in your outfit and ready to go

Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?

Yes

What are the forms of payment?

Card payment and Bank transfer. Low booking fee to secure the date

A perfect experience

I short-listed Kay down through Hitched and booked in for a trial with her in January. Kay covers hair and Lucy covers makeup. With a bit of tweeking myself and my bridesmaids found the styles that suited us with Kay and Lucy's help. Every step of the way they were so lovely, giving clear and good advice so we could look our best on the day, and the photographs really show the skill they both have. On the day they were very responsive and put us all at ease. It was fun morning and really set a great tone for the rest of the day. Thank you!

Brilliant hair and make up

Kay was absolutely amazing, she not only did the bridal groups hair and makeup but she kept us stress free and on time as she is so organised plans to perfection. Kay and the makeup artist listened to what we wanted and made it happen . I’m so glad that I had Kay on the day, she is friendly , approachable and professional !

Very amazing

Kay is a absolute brilliant hairstylist she is such a lovely lady she went above and beyond for me and my bridle part y not just for hair but also helped myself out by gettingr me into my dress she did not leave till the very end her hairstyles are very beautiful and nothing ever seemed too much for her so if you are looking for a bridle hairstylist kay is the lady thankyou so much kay for all your hard work and making me feel so lovely

Hair and make up

Kay is absolutely fantastic! The service she provided was above and beyond hair and make-up! I can’t recommend her enough. She created 3 amazing hairstyles and we all looked beautiful with a natural look at lasted all day. Our wedding was on a very hot day and not once was I concerned about my hair or makeup. In the evening I looked the same as when I arrived to get married. I never applied anymore makeup throughout the day. Thank you Kay you made my wedding preparations so smooth and calm throughout. XX

Amazing woman!

Kay is fantastic. She offers so much more than just hair and make up on your wedding day. She was at our venue right until we got married, helping with the flowers, getting me into my dress and reassuring us when the bridal party became emotional. The hair and make up she did was beautiful, I felt like myself but a more polished version. Our guests all complimented me on the hair and make up. Kay was brilliant in the run up to the wedding too, she was more than happy to arrange a second trial to ensure I felt prepared and perfect for the wedding day. I would recommend Kay to any of my friends / anyone I know who needs a wedding hair stylist and make up artist. Thank you Kay.

Best hair and makeup I could have asked for

Kay was brilliant throughout the whole process of booking her for my hair and makeup on my wedding day. From initial discussions, to coming to me on the day of my wedding, Kay always listened to my requests, was super communicative, and was overall superb and professional. She also made me feel super chilled and laid back on the morning of my wedding, and the night before when she came to pre wash my hair. I couldn't have asked for anyone better for my special day.

Professional and Attentive

Perfect and pleasant

Kay did really an amazing job on my hair done and make up on my big day. She’s so gentle and friendly to listen to what I like and my preference style. It looks exactly what I sent her a ref, good to keep checking up if I’m happy with things like color tone of make up or curl style which made it goes really well and I was really happy on how I look. Thank you Kay for being amazing and open to what I asked for. Highly recommended her for the next bride:)

Perfect hair and make up for a perfect day

I would like to thank Kay and Lucy for doing mine, my mums and best friend’s hair and make up for my wedding day.
We all felt so comfortable with the team and they made us all feel beautiful for my wedding day.
My hair was certainly the talking point of the wedding and I would recommend Kay for bridal hair- she has won awards for a reason!

Amazing from start to finish

From start to finish Kay was amazing with my 5 bridesmaids and myself. She had lots of patience and ideas when they were picking hairstyles and offered advice when needed on hair care. The girls all looked amazing and they had so many compliments I would definitely recommend.

Hair and makeup

I would highly recommend this hairdresser and make up lady they both where very professional and friendly great to work with and have them both involved in our special day very accommodating to what we liked and disliked listen to our points of view and then making it become the final look they were absolutely smashed it and could not have been or done any better great ladies to have to complete all your wedding needs they did a great job.

Perfect hair and make up

Kay has been amazing! I had only a vague idea of my hair and make-up, and from there she did great and even improved from trial to the big day. Had a lot of compliments. On the day during preparation, she was professional, and on time. I highly recommend her.

Amazing skill, communication and friendliness

We chose Kay to do the hair for my daughter's wedding at Wentbridge House. She was very responsive, very friendly and flexible when it came to pre-wedding trials. It was great that she had worked at the hotel before and with the photographer ( Martin Hillary - excellent ). She knew the process and put our minds at rest and this is in addition to her excellent skills with hair. Do not hesitate!
