I reached out to Wishbone and Comb with 7 months to go until my wedding (when my original hair stylist became pregnant and couldn’t do my hair anymore!) and any worries or panics were completely evaporated when I had the most professional and kind reply from Laura about my enquiry. Laura was so professional and organised throughout and was a pleasure to have in the room on the morning of the wedding. She gave great advice, was excited when my hair turned out really well and added to the buzz of the morning. My hair stayed in all day and Laura have amazing tips on how to take my veil out, without affecting my hairstyle to my bridesmaids. Very pleased with Wishbone and Comb!

The lovely ladies at Wishbone + Comb were fantastic - everything about my experience with them was brilliant. Laura and Beth made myself and my bridal party look and feel so beautiful, and the whole morning went so smoothly so I had no added stress. I arranged for a trial hair and make up session with Laura. I would highly recommend this as it meant I had no worries about the actual wedding day hair and make up. Laura put me at ease straight away and I ended up getting semi permanent eyelashes done for the first time ever. She was super professional throughout, really listening to my concerns about eyelashes and make-up looking “too much” as I’m someone who doesn’t wear much make up. However she got it spot on.
On the day, I felt relaxed and pampered and had many compliments on my hair, make up and eyelashes! Her colleague Natasha did my bridesmaids hair and they all looked beautiful despite all having very different hair types.
I was fully prepared on how to easily maintain my make up throughout the wedding day too, which was minimal effort and it remained looking fantastic all day.
As for the eyelashes, I would highly recommend - they lasted much longer than my 2 week honeymoon and it has been lovely to not worry about putting make up on!
Overall it was real value for money and I’ll certainly be getting my eyelashes done again with Laura! Highly recommend Wishbone and Comb for wedding hair and make up.

I booked Wishbone and Comb for hair and makeup for myself, my mum and my bridesmaids for my wedding day. Laura was so helpful in organising the artists, timings and logistics for the day, she made the process so easy and stress-free.

Sam, my makeup artist, and Ria, my hair stylist, were both amazing. They were really helpful during my trials and made sure I got exactly what I wanted ahead of the big day.

As for the wedding day, they were super friendly, efficient and set the tone for a super relaxed, fun time. We were all so pleased with our hair and makeup and it stayed in place all day, even in 28 degree heat!

I have never felt as beautiful or confident in how I look as I did on my wedding day. I absolutely loved my hair and make up. Wishbone and Comb were professional and were just amazing. I had Ria for my hair and Sam for my makeup and I was over the moon with both of them. I was very nervous about hair and makeup after bad experiences with other people but both Ria and Sam put me completely at ease and I couldn’t have been happier with them. Both of them made me feel so special and I felt so relaxed with them and able to just chat away. With the trials we found out exactly what worked for my hair and skin respectively and Ria and Sam both made sure that I was completely happy with everything before they left. My bridesmaids as well are all very unique and both Sam and Ria bought out the best in all of them, they were able to accommodate different styles and made sure all of us looked incredible. It was so helpful for both of them to be under wishbone and comb as it meant I only had to speak to one company rather than dealing with separate invoices. Couldn’t recommend them enough and will definitely be recommending Wishbone and comb to all of my friends.

I had a specific look in mind for my special day. After hours of searching for someone who specialised in vintage inspired make up, I came across Laura at Wishbone and Comb.

Laura travelled to West Wales and arrived promptly. The make up was everything I wanted and more! I had so many compliments and the make up lasted all day!

My experience with them was great! My friend had recommended Laura already as she had been so pleased with her hair and make up for her wedding the previous year. Our enquiry was responded to very quickly and I organised a trial for hair and make up, where Laura helped me with recommendations for make up and was able to give me the exact style I wanted for my hair. On the day she was a very calming presence and did the hair and make up for my bridal party. I would 100% recommend them

I was a bit apprehensive about the hair and make up aspect of the wedding as it's not really my bag; but Sam and Beth really put me at ease and made the whole process so much more enjoyable! My mum has some allergies to certain make up ingredients and Sam was amazing in looking up the ingredients of her kit and only using what my mum was 100% comfortable with. Beth was fantastic and the gentlest hair stylist I've ever encountered! I was expecting to end up with 100 pins in my hair to hold it all up and for my curls to last only a couple of hours. I ended up with just 10 pins and somehow my curls (and hairdo in general) lasted all day and I had so many compliments throughout the day and night.
