She graduated with an HND in Specialist Makeup from West Thames, gaining experience in the wedding hair and makeup field. Melissa is determined to create unforgettable looks for her customers.
Services Offered
An initial consultation with Made to Perfection - Hair and Makeup Artist allows clients the opportunity to trial different looks, finding that one feels right for your special day. Melissa works with a personalized approach, collaborating with clients directly to understand their vision for their finished look. On the day of the wedding, Melissa will travel to your location to provide you and your wedding party with unforgettable hair and makeup looks.

Best wedding hair & make-up
Thank you just does not seem enough to cover what Melissa and her ladies did for us on my wedding day. They went above & beyond every step of the way, ensuring each of my bridesmaids and I felt flawlessly beautiful. Even helping me get into my dress when time seemed to have run away from us all. The patience you showed my young flowergirls was brilliant too.
From my hair & make-up trial to the morning of my wedding, Melissa listened to what I wanted and the end result was beyond what I had hoped for.

Exceptional service from start to finish. Melissa did an incredible job with my bridal hair & makeup and 4 bridesmaids; very friendly and welcoming throughout, with the bridesmaid even commenting about how comfortable they felt on the morning. I’m not usually one to wear makeup or have my hair done often but Melissa executed it perfectly and took all my requests to keep it subtle/natural into account. I felt beautiful on the day and I cannot recommend her enough to any bride!

Wedding day
Melissa did the hair and makeup for my wedding on myself, my mum and 3 bridesmaids. She was very professional but at the same time it felt like she was part of the group, so friendly and put us all at ease.
Everyone commented on how lovely we looked and our hair and makeup lasted all day and night.

Totally blown away with the finished results.
As Mother of the Bride, I was extremely happy with the excellent job that Melissa did on mine, the bride and the bridesmaids makeup and/or hair. Everyone looked beautiful and my makeup/ hair stayed perfect all day (which is a first for me)…tbh my hair stayed put for 3 days 😂😂
I was genuinely blown away with the skin tone match of foundation and the application of the make-up. It wasn’t heavy or oily at all. Needless to say I had a lot of compliments on my appearance as did the bride and bridesmaids which is testimony to your amazing talent.

Relaxed and friendly!
Myself and my bridesmaid used Melissa for both hair and make up for my wedding on 3rd June. We both had a tried beforehand where we both felt relaxed and listened to. I am someone who doesn't wear make up and doesn't feel comfortable in it but Melissa was great at being adaptable to individual needs and wants.

Absolutely perfect, Melissa was amazing, our looks were complimented on so many times, helped ease my nerves and offered to help us with our dresses, hair and makeup lasted all day and night, couldn't ask for more.

Couldn't have asked for better
I underestimated when I booked Melissa what a perfect choice I had made for doing the hair and make up for my wedding day. I didn't have a set of bridesmaids or a coordinated look for the bridal party. It was a case of "each to their own". I wasn't even entirely sure how I wanted to look. But Melissa took us all into her care and gave each of us the look we wanted (even if we didn't know it before). She did a lovely job and all the ladies, including me, felt a million dollars and thoroughly enjoyed a girly morning of getting all glammed up for the event, which was exactly what I wanted. We were all made to feel special and beautiful. Thank you!

Amazing hair & make up artist - would highly recommend!
Melissa has been amazingly helpful throughout the lead up to my wedding and on the wedding morning! When I first contacted Melissa she was very quick to respond to all the questions I had and was so flexible when it came to discussing hair and make up styles for the big day. Myself and my mum had a trial session which was so useful to find out the best options for me and my bridesmaids as Melissa showed me several different styles in my hair.

Flawless Comfortable Makeup

Hairdo for a party!
Melissa did an amazing job doing my hair for a work party! Beautiful Hollywood curls and gave me a lot of volume, definitely had loads of compliments that evening!
Melissa was also very friendly yet professional throughout my appointment! She was chatty and very pleasant! I would definitely recommend her to my friends!

Honestly amazing

Melissa did a trial hair run for my wedding for my daughter and I. My daughter has autism and Melissa went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and happy.
On my wedding day Melissa did my hair and make up as well as my mums, daughters and two stepdaughters. The house was chaos but she was so calm and kept us laughing and feeling relaxed!
I hate having my photo took but my wedding day I felt like a princess due to Melissa’s magical hair and make up!
