Yvonne and Keith decided to create and print their own wedding stationery. They picked a sophisticated navy and cream colour scheme, and followed this with all their wedding stationery.
The stationery included a tiny English rose, to represent Keith’s heritage, and a New Zealand fern to symbolise Yvonne’s background. The place cards featured these floral tributes and were backed by navy card. They were attached by ribbon to the menus and decorated with a silk flower.
Yvonne asked her new step son to take pictures of them with everyone they’d invited. The couple specifically asked for no gifts, but a lot of guests bought them vouchers and presents, so after the wedding they were able to send out thank you cards, and include pictures of the bride and groom with the recipient of the card, which was a really thoughtful and personal gesture.
