A family friend of Wendy’s, called Glynis, came out of retirement to do their wedding flowers. She created a gorgeous arrangement of mango calla lilies, orange roses, gerbera, cream freesias, brown hypericum, berries and foliage for the bridal bouquet, and also made the bridesmaids’ bouquets as well.
Wendy had her late Nana’s brooch attached to her bouquet so she was able to keep her close on her wedding day.
A floral arrangement was used to decorate the register table at the ceremony, and this was later moved to the top table at the reception. The bridesmaids’ bouquets were also used to decorate tables.
The orange flowers matched the place cards and wedding stationery perfectly, and kept in with the overall theme of the wedding as each table was named after a different tree to suit the woodland setting and to go with the couple’s love of nature.
