As they had a small number of guests, David and Vivian opted for a one-tier cake, which was created for them by the resort’s pastry chefs.
The merged together lots of different designs to create their dream cake, and ended up with a chocolate creation, decorated with edible purple roses, to match the purple colour scheme. Their names were iced across the top in hearts, and they provided their own cake topper, a cartoon-style bride and groom.
The cake was offered alongside a traditional Asian dessert to complete the wedding breakfast.
After their dream beach wedding, David and Vivian spent three days in London before jetting off to Lapland in Finland for a honeymoon completely different to their wedding! They began married life in a cosy log cabin, taking sledge rides and learning to ski.
Vivian says if she could do it again, she would spend more time at the beach resort as it was just so beautiful!
