Lee and Victoria chose quite a modern style of wedding cake. Their three tier cake had a square based, topped with a diamond shaped second tier, finished with a circular top tier. A large black sugar paste bow topped the cake, and a black ribbon decorated it. There was a fruitcake, a chocolate and a vanilla flavoured tier, to cater to everyone’s tastes! The cake was served up as part of the evening buffet.
They found an image of their ideal cake on Google, and then asked Karen from Edible Magic to recreate it. The bride’s friend Siobhan also provided 100 cupcakes in black casing with white topping, to go alongside the cake. Each cupcake featured a bespoke decoration.
Due to university commitments, the newlyweds were unable to go on honeymoon straight after their wonderful winter wedding. They do however plan to celebrate it with a special family holiday in the summer!
