Victoria and Lee met on a night out in Chester. They had a whirlwind romance, and after four months together decided they wanted to have children, and then get married. Lee proposed following the births of Oliver and Elliot, and they tied the knot on their five year anniversary.
The Bride and Groom
Victoria remembers meeting Lee as he got in the way of a picture she was trying to take of her friend. He remembers her trying to take a picture of him! They got talking after he posed for photos, and never stopped!
Their first son Oliver was born one year and three months after they met, and his brother Elliot followed 21 months later. They knew they wanted to marry when their sons were old enough to be involved. They picked the ring together, and chose a solitaire, with a brilliant cut diamond on a platinum ring with a quirky twist in the setting.
Lee then booked a weekend away in the Lake District for the proposal. He’d booked a nice-looking restaurant for dinner, which turned out to be quite disappointing! Victoria was praying he didn’t propose there…little did she know he’d decorated their hotel room with rose petals and champagne! A ten month engagement led to a winter wedding.
