Victoria and James were married in a traditional service which took place at 1.30pm at Cumnor St Michael’s Church, in the village where James grew up. The bride walked down the aisle with her father to the ‘Trumpet Tune’ by Henry Purcell. They had three hymns and three readings in their ceremony.
After they were pronounced husband and wife, Victoria and James and their wedding guests headed to Eynsham Hall, just outside of Witney. The couple chose this stunning venue for their wedding reception for a number of reasons. They fell in love with the grand exterior, the reasonable wedding packages and the guarantee they’d be the only wedding there on the day, as well as the fact it had plenty of room for all their guests.
Their wedding day was one of the hottest days of the year in 2012, so they were able to enjoy the grounds of the beautiful venue too!
