Victoria and James’s wedding cake was made by Cake Sweet Cake, the winner of the Hitched Breakthrough Awards in 2012. They chose a three tier sponge cake, which was Bakewell tart flavoured. The cake was covered in a soft ivory icing and was decorated with a lace pattern that matched Victoria’s wedding dress.
The elegant wedding cake was cut following the after dinner speeches, and was served up with the evening buffet. By the end of the evening, there was nothing left!
After their beautiful, elegant wedding, Victoria and James set off on honeymoon. Their honeymoon was a generous gift from Victoria’s godfather, and they spent two weeks travelling through America in a bright yellow Camaro!
The happy couple managed to stick to their wedding budget, and offer this advice to couples planning their own weddings: “think about the sort of day you want to remember for yourselves, and then look at how you can apply your budget to that.”
