Victoria hired the ‘amazingly talented’ Charlie Quartley from The Flower Fairies to take care of the wedding flowers. Victoria wanted a bouquet that would complement her statement dress, rather than compete with it, and the florist provided the perfect arrangement. The bride carried a beautiful teardrop style bouquet of roses, cream sweet peas, cream astilbe, scabiosa seed heads, and astrantia in dusky pink. Eucalyptus was used at the base of the bouquet, and the stems were bound in a mixture of lace, satin and organza ribbon.
Charlie also created the bridesmaids’ bouquets, buttonholes and corsages for the wedding party. There were floral centrepieces on each table, as well as a longer one for the top table and a fresh flower cake topper. The venue was so impressed with the floral displays that they asked Charlie to be their recommended florist the very next week!
