Vicky and Andy had a religious, Greek Orthodox ceremony, to reflect Vicky’s Greek heritage. Their wedding ceremony, which took place at eight in the evening, was filled with traditional Greek touches. Guests threw rice at the couple instead of confetti, and the bride and groom wore head crowns as well as wedding rings.
Vicky was given away by her father outside the church, as is Greek tradition, before walking down the aisle with her husband to be.
They sang traditional hymns, and the priest performed all of the readings. The couple exchanged rings that they bought from H. Samuels; hers decorated with diamonds, his with a sleek matte finish.
Once the ceremony had come to an end, the newlyweds and all their guests headed over to their mountainside reception venue, which had views down to Athens, to celebrate the marriage.
