Vanessa is a wedding dress designer, so it was only natural that she would create her own wedding dress! She browsed online and tried on a couple of dresses to see what would work for her.
The bride knew she wanted something big and girly, so she made her dress from three elements; a V-necked bodice with a subtle pattern, a Liberty-print puffball skirt and an incredible, massive train which was detachable and tied around her waist. The train was covered in 6,300 individually cut organza circles that were washed and hand sewn on in clusters of three, creating a romantic, ruffled look. Vanessa used a rose pink shade around the bottom of the skirt to create a dip-dyed effect.
A pair of bright pink heels from Sam Edelman completed the look. Vanessa knew her shoes would be on show, so she wanted a pair that would stand out and match the rock-chick vibe created by her hair and nails.
