The couple opted for a single tiered wedding cake, made from Adam’s favourite red velvet cake, covered in cream cheese frosting. The cake came from the Hummingbird Bakery and was decorated with a small red bird, and miniature banners made by Vanessa. The couple saved half of the delicious cake to take on honeymoon with them!
Rather than hire a DJ, Vanessa and Adam made a six hour playlist full of their favourite tunes and crowd pleasers, and played this through the venue’s sound system. At the end of the night the new husband and wife snuck off together to enjoy some time alone reflecting on the amazing day they’d had.
They left for their honeymoon the next day, after opening their gifts and enjoying time with their families. Their honeymoon was a gift from Adam’s parents, which consisted of a romantic week at a secluded cottage in Dartmoor, with their dog and their remaining wedding cake!
