Bride Twila loves to bake, so she felt it was only natural she should make her own wedding cake. It had three tiers with three different flavours – from bottom to top: chocolate truffle cake with chocolate ganache, almond and amaretto cake and a fruit cake.
The bride’s mother iced it, and Twila finished it off with black polka dot ribbons, a sugar flower and by spraying it with a pearl lustre, for a gorgeous vintage look. Twila went baking crazy and created a whole cake table, as well as baking a cake for the centerpieces on each of her wedding tables!
After their amazing wedding, Twila and Leolin waited until January to go on honeymoon, to eke out the happy time a bit longer! They chose to go to the Maldives as it’s one place they haven’t been together, where they could relax and dive in the clear blue sea.
