After meeting 12 years ago in New Zealand, Twila and Leolin discovered they had a connection that couldn’t be dampened by distance or time. They experienced lots of the world together and apart before settling in England, where they got married in a rockabilly inspired wedding with lots of handmade details.
The Bride and Groom
Leolin and Twila first set eyes on each other when they were living in Auckland. It took some time for them to get together, and by the time it happened, Leolin was due to move on to his next location within a matter of weeks! Twila knew he was the one though, and a relationship had begun that would span across several years and continents.
They met up in various different locations across the global, settling in Thailand for a while, before deciding to move to the UK together. Exactly a year to the day that they’d bought their first home, Leolin asked Twila to be his wife during a romantic surprise city break to Bruges, the perfect location for chocolate loving Twila!
The couple then became husband and wife in a unique and truly personal wedding ceremony almost exactly a year to the day that they got engaged – due to venue availability, they were one day out!
