Tara and Alex cut into a delicious, four tiered, white chocolate covered wedding cake. The cake, which was chocolate flavoured, was from Marks and Spencers, and was decorated with white chocolate curls.
It was served as part of the evening reception, alongside the sweet buffet. Guests also enjoyed homemade sloe gin as the wedding favours.
After their elegant wedding, the newlyweds headed off on the trip of a life time. Their honeymoon started with 10 nights in South Africa, with a road trip that ended with three nights in a private game reserve. They followed this with 10 nights in Mauritius where they relaxed and enjoyed visiting the neighbouring islands.
