Suzanne and her mum made the five tier wedding cake themselves. It was iced in white fondant icing, and between each tier was a row of pastel coloured roses. There was a chocolate tier, a fruit cake tier, a lemon flavoured tier and two tiers of vanilla; something to satisfy everyone’s tastes.
The cake was cut up and served during the evening buffet, and napkins were provided so guests could take cake home with them. The cake was topped with Kieran and Suzanne’s initials in glittering diamante.
After cutting the cake, the couple shared their first dance to the salsa band they hired for the reception. The dance started off slow, but then they surprised their guests with a fast choreographed salsa dance they’d practiced in private!
After their beautiful winter wedding, Suzanne and Kieran headed off on honeymoon to Cuba, where they got to salsa together and enjoy rum cocktails as husband and wife!
