Sue and Paul married in a beautiful burgundy themed wedding. The couple chose to say their vows in the peaceful Orangery Suite in Wimborne, followed by a marquee wedding reception, complete with a delicious hog roast.
The Happy Couple
Paul and Sue first met in the school car park as they waited for their children to return from a school trip. Conversations at the school gate led to love, and after five months together, Paul proposed to Sue by getting down on one knee on the beach at sunset, after a romantic meal.
It may have seemed quick, but the couple knew they were meant to be. Sue had been widowed very suddenly four years before, and Paul had a bad motorbike accident in 2000 which had left him with a brain injury. They hadn’t expected to find love again, so they wholeheartedly embraced their second chance.
They spent nine months planning their perfect wedding, and said their vows surrounded by 50 of their loved ones, before heading off to Sardinia on a romantic honeymoon.
